I almost pulled the trigger, but thank goodness I checked out IGN first. They gave it a 5.6 (out of 10) for extremely repetetive gameplay.

I played this game before, it is fun for a while....does get repetitive...but all party games do.

It was $30 a week ago, and $40 a few weeks before that (and still this price at stores), so I expect a $10-15 pricetag somewhere within the next month. I think I'll wait until then to pick it up. My girlfriend seemed to have a little fun with it when she played it at Target. x_x

The demo seemed like decent fun. I doubt it has much or any play value as a solo game, but as the party game it's intended to be, I can see it being a lot of fun.

Speaking of which, is there ever going to be a new Super Monkey Ball game for X360 or PS3? I know there's the Wii version, but it seems like there should be another, or did that franchise stall?

This is def not a bad price. I have it and have been playing it recently. It's a good time, it's easy achievements (I know some people care). The graphics are just.. wow. It's a beautiful game!

But I can see how this isn't for everyone, though.
