Xbox vga cable?

I can't remember that far back, but does anyone know if microsoft ever had a vga cable for the regular xbox? Or did anyone make one?

I t doesn't look like Microsoft made one, but aftermarket companies made VGA converter boxes, simliar to the Dreamcast's setup.

Not cheap, though, eBay prices seem to be $25+.

Microsoft never made one, but I use an X2VGA and it works great. Plus obviously any component-vga transcoder will work.
