You mean I can pay for two overpriced BDs, then get a $10 certificate good towards another overpriced BD? Count me in!

The SD post that you copied states:

$25 GC for 3 BR - when you buy ANY 3 Blu Rays

However, the ad indicates that it must be three of the titles shown. A little misleading, but you just copied what Bigfoot0968 wrote.

Also in the SD thread is a post by Zaroff1 with a mail-in offer for a free Blu-Ray if you buy 2 of these*, **:
Superbad
Casino Royale
Perfect Stranger
Surf's Up
Resident Evil: Extinction
Ghost Rider
Reign Over Me
Dragon Wars
The Lives of Others

*Free movie selected from same list.
**Bolded titles are ones that are also in the BB deal.

Mail-in offer:
http://www.sonypictures.com/homevideo/bluraymailoffer/

So, you could buy Superbad, Surf's Up, and another BR from the OP's list for $90+tax, get a $25 GC, and get a 4th BR from the mail in offer. Not a bad deal, although I don't think I'll personally be taking advantage of it.

Edit: Mail-in offer requires $2.99 handling fee.

With the Sony B2G1 mail in rebate...

You could basically pay $50 for Superbad, Surf's Up, At World's End, and whatever movie you wanted for free.

Not bad, but its a lot of work to get a decent BD deal.

Yea, I just don't enjoy cutting up parts of my box, (not the box, the slip, but nonetheless).

err, seriously, the little corner is not a big deal, but each of his/her own of course.... I have to carefully tape the two "labels" on the paper along with the receipt. If not, god knows how the hell they gonna find them in the envelope...

If you return them with the receipt they will deduct the gift card from the refund. If you return it with out the receipt they will give you the lowest price within 30-60 days. The lowest price would be minus the price of the GC.

Quit trying to scam. It won't work. BB makes it quite clear on the receipts.

Not bad, but its a lot of work to get a decent BD deal.no. your math is wrong. You'd pay 90 bucks plus tax = ~97 bucks and get 25 dollars in GC that you'd use towards a blu-ray that cost 29.99 with tax that would be ~32 bucks- 25 gc = 7 bucks. 97+7 bucks =104 bucks for 4 bR's. then you'd cut off the upc's of two br's send it in with 2.99 and hope that you get your first choice of br in 3 weeks. 104+3 = 107 bucks/ 5BR's = 21.40 bucks a BR. Which is a shitty deal!!!!!! because it's more expensive than amazon

I'd pay $75 after I used the $5 & $10 Disney coupons on At World's End.

Also if the gift card could be used on anything I could write that off as cash in my book, cause I'd spent $25 at Best Buy eventually. So that'd bring it down to $50....the additional $3 is chump change.

Anyway, since you have to send in a cutoff of UPCs I won't bother...I didn't see that yesterday cause my competer was having problems opening the PDF.

You could always buy Superbad and Surf's Up to get the $10 gift card and use that and the coupons* on Pirates 3. Then send away for the free movie. I believe that would be cheaper in what you're paying up front, but then you'd miss out on the larger gift card.

*Also would they stack those $5 Disney and $10 Pirates coupons? I guess it depends on the cashier...

freshzen

Yes YMMV on coupon stacking but it should instantly take $5 and $10 off on the same transaction which would help.

Either way I'm not going to cut out the UPCs for the Sony deal.
