I've ordered from these guys quite a bit and have always had a good experience.

Another interesting tidbit for you:
Oh, and one last thing. We're not necessarily doing the "one product every 24 hours" thing anymore. That's old hat and we want nothing to do with it. Items are going to start appearing (and disappearing, for that matter) throughout the day. You'll be able to see how long you have left on the current deal by looking up there in the upper left hand corner of your screen. Our programmers have updated our timer to be based off of our servers, and so it doesn't just reflect a silly javascript that knows how to reset itself every 1440 minutes. Our humble suggestion is that you check in more than just once a day, or you're really going to miss something special.

Feel free to check back more frequently as it appears that deals will be more frequent than what they used to be.

Not a bad deal at all if you're in the market. Much better than the pink one last week.

You guys may already realize this and not care, but it is stated as in "open box" condition.

I'm not a big fan of used (or potentially used) controllers, but thanks for the info, OP. Good deal for those that don't mind.

Yeah this site is awesome, they has a PS3 Intercooler for $9.99 yesterday. Check out this site for a compilation of a few of the deal websites.

I ordered from Stootsi last month for the wireless white controllers and they're really great. I ordered two controllers and shipping was still $6 combined.

Was the condition on those listed as "open box"? Was there any evidence that they were used?

I think I want this...

How used is "Open Box."

I bought a wired controller from them a year ago and it was like buying an OEM model. New, but without the retail packaging. I don't believe that they are used.

I just got an answer from a stootsi administrator about what open box means. Here's his response: "Open box is definitely not new. open box retail store items are demo units, display models, store returns, etc. Vary in condition, some better or worse than others, but none are new or brand new."

I grabbed one to have as a 4th controller (won't get used much, so I figure I can take a chance on a open box one for 30 bucks)

One controller was still in the original packaging, but the packaging was cracked and open, the other controller didn't come in any packaging. Both of them feel and operate just like my brand new wireless controller that came with my Xbox Pro. In no way did the controllers seem used in any way.

Thanks for the info...ordered one.

Having never used a wireless Xbox controller, I don't really know what I'm getting. How do I charge it? Can I just hook it up to a USB cable like my Sixaxis controller?

If you have a play-n-charge kit. Otherwise, it just takes two AA batteries. I simply use rechargeables and they work just fine.
