Assassins Creed DS!

Well, Assassins Creed was released on the PS3 and on the 360 in November and it was a huge sucess for Ubisoft. It sold a ton of copys and people really liked playing the game. Nintendo obviousley realized that they missed the boat on this one, so what do they do? they release the new Assassins Creed DS! With Nintendo saying I quote "A more straight forward action game" do you think it will be as big a success as its predacessor or do you think it will just be ass? Will you be picking up a copy?

As I correctly pointed out a while back, it is being developed by Gameloft, a developer of mobile games.

I imagine its going to be mediocre at best.

It sold a ton in part because of marketing. No one actually knows a DS version exists.

i read somewhere (kotaku i think) it is going to be fully 3d and have the same big open environments.....
im gonna take a look into my crystal ball and say this is gonna suck ass....

It's actually gotten a fair amount of coverage on sites like IGN and 1Up. I wouldn't discount it so readily....you never know.

I read somewhere else that it plays a bit like the Prince of Persia game on the GBA minus the frustrating difficulty...that game's mechanics were pretty good so this might be surprisingly better than you think.

I'll still most likely wait for some reviews.
