Can someone confirm that on January 28th something will happen with the PS3?

No one can confirm. Its just a rumor. Doesnt make much sense but it is a rumor so it might or might not be true. If your planning to get one it wouldnt hurt to wait till then to see if it does drop but I doubt it.

Until Sony comes out and says something I wouldn't belive anything you hear on the internets or from "store employees". Personaly I think it would be insane for Sony to have another price drop that soon (not that I wouldn't want it), but thats just me.
