So a few weeks ago I won an auction for Ballistic: Ecks vs Sever on DVD for a grand total of $4.99. Yes, I'm aware the movie sucks but that's not the point. When it finally arrived in the mail it was just an empty box, the DVD was gone. I've messaged the seller twice to either refund my money or send the DVD but no response. To make it worse, before I recieved my box I won an auction from the same seller for The Forgotten. I want to get the Ballistic thing sorted out before I leave feedback for the second DVD because I don't want the person to give me negative on both if I give him/her negative on the first one. I'm probably overthinking things, huh CAGs.

I'd start a PayPal dispute now- that usually gets seller's attention. Usually they just ignore you hoping that you go away or that you don't know about PP disputes.

Thats the turth. I had a problem once with a dude that literly never shipped the game, and no reply, but as soon as I filed on paypal. It is like they was scared to death, and he replyed saying sorry I was so late, and he expressed me the game lol.

How would I go about filing a PayPal dispute? Is that similar to marking an item as unrecieved?

I wouldn't leave feedback on either items, until you get this sort'd out. More than likely he will leave you a negative on both items, if you leave him a negative on just one. (retaliation feedback)

There is a couple ways of filing dispute.

Go to paypal, click on the "details" link beside the information of the payment you sent, and scroll down the the bottom, at the bottom there will be something on the lines of have a problem go the resolution center, and it will link you.

Once there it will say item dispute or unauthorized transaction, select item dispute; click continue and the next page will say:

Reason for opening dispute:

I have not received anything from the seller.
I received my item, but it was significantly different than the seller's description. For example:
The item was damaged or different
The box was empty
The order was incompleteSince you box was empty select item was diff. from description. From there just follow the steps, clicking continue you will have to type up a descripiton and explain what happened.

Explain the box was empty, you have tried getting a hold of the seller to ship the DVD or refund your money and he will not respond. Include specific dates if you can.

This should get this resolved for you, as if he does not respond paypal will honor the dispute in your behalf and your money will be refunded.

Damn it, I didn't realize that it was 30 days and the auction has been closed. The seller never contacted me in any way and even now with the paypal dispute nothing. I was hoping I could leave bad feedback to warn people. Well I'll warn the CAGs. The sellers name is 1999shelby.
