If anyone plays VF 4 Akira's knee move K+G requiring you to release G while still holding K at a 1 input frame, I find too damn hard!!

yeah, ant move that requires an entire circle motion plus a button combo I find pretty tough. Most of Zangief's moves were performed this way...

I find moves than need a motion along the lines of "forward, down, down-forward" to be difficult. I usually only pull those off by luck.

What about Akuma's wacky Level 3 Super???

Ivy's ultimate hold - it's hard enough doing it, but then it's really hard pulling it off without the other person knowing.
Thread done. lol

Yeah Ivy's Insanity Dance (or whatever the hell it is called), especially pulling it off perfectly and not just mashing the dpad trying to get it to work.

Geese's Raging Storm. I KNOW the motion easily but I simply cannot get the move to come out when it matters.
I'd say either Zangief's 360 moves or King's throw combos.

What about Akuma's wacky Level 3 Super???You talking about the Raging Demon? Jab, Jab, =>, Short, Fierce. Pretty easy to do IMO, to land it is the problem.
Geese's Raging Storm. I KNOW the motion easily but I simply cannot get the move to come out when it matters. Geese's Raging Storm was always tough, but it's do-able, especially in CvS1. Strider, here's a tip that works for me: do two backward yoga flames (two backward half-circles) and then press down-forward + punch. That seems to work very well.
For me, 360's are okay, but 720's are hard for supers. I don't play 3D fighters so I think a lot of those moves are hard.

Thanks, I'll try that out next time I play Cvs2. For some reason, it's really easy to do this move in Snk vs Capcom though.

I always hated the old Tiger Knee motion (Down, Down-Towards, Towards, Towards-Up) simply because if you are late with the kick you jump.
360's aren't as bad as they seem, specially if you start the motion by jumping, then finishing as you land.
I do agree with Raging Storm being rather difficult. Even with tons of practice it's still kinda hard to pull off consistently.
Akuma's Shun Goku Satsu is game dependent. It's harder to do in certain games (mostly Alpha 1 and CVS) while in most others it's easy to do.
I think i had the hardest time with double charge moves, such as Sommersault Justice. Those are even worse in a game such as EX, where you can super cancel from a Flash Kick to Sommersault Strike.

I'd say either Zangief's 360 moves or King's throw combos. I was just going to say the same.

I also found the 360 moves hard especially with the old Super Nintendo controller that was not ergonomic at all. Had so many callouses trying to pull those moves off (well that and just playing for long hours in general). I got an off-brand controller (only system where I have used an offbrand controller) that was a lot more ergonomic with the little webs inbetween the directions and it wasn't too bad after that.

I forgot about that one. I hated it cuz I would mess up and toss a low tiger shot and end up taking a hit. You're right about the Shun Goku Satsu being game dependent. Sometimes you press it and can't execute for the life of you.
Also, some MK fatalities were pretty hard to do.

that move sucks, when people see it coming unless they're a noob they would just jump away from it.

Akuma's raging demon for me, I finally got to the point where I could do it with relative ease time and time again on the psx version of Alpha 3, then SF 3 came out so I ignored it for awhile, came back to it and couldn't do the move for shit anymore.

i would have to say most of the huge combos into Beast Drives in Bloody Roar 3.
and also, 99% of the Brutalitys in MKT on N64. its so fucking hard to hit (HP,BL,LK,HP,LK,LK,HK,LP,LP,LP,LP,HP,LP? come on!) one of them because you have to be DEAD on.

raging demon doesn't suck if you finish executing it a second before they get up off the ground.
i don't play a lot of snk games, but it seems like some of the huge supers are harder to do.
most, if not all, of the capcom fighter moves are pretty easy to execute. i guess it depends on the controller too. joysticks make everything easier... meanwhile it's a pain trying to do some crazy guy combos on alpha 3 for dreamcast with that crappy controller. mas sticks own.

Seemingly everything you'd want to do with Akira in VF

Zangief's 360 moves. But I don't play fighters anymore, so there may be a lot harder stuff out there.
"If anyone plays VF 4 Akira's knee move K+G requiring you to release G while still holding K at a 1 input frame, I find too damn hard!!"
That's so funny, because as soon as I saw the title of the topic, that's exactly the move I thought of. A just-frame move? For that? It makes me want to scream. "I mean, COME ON! IT'S JUST A JUMPING KNEE!"
And this is from someone who's never had a problem with Ivy's command throws.

I've pretty much written off geese's raging storm in cvs2 its just crazy.. I'de much rather just not use it that mess up and get punished.

i found a trick for doing zangiefs moves. all you have to do is jump... then in midair roll the dpad and when you land you press the punch/kick.
as for akumas raging demon, i can do that move 10/10 times. its hard to learn, but once you got it down its really easy. i can do it in like 1/3rd of a second, just takes practice.
i always have trouble with geeses super, but thats only because i havent put the time into practicing his move like i have xangief/akuma. if you spend an hour doing nothing but one special move, it gets real easy

I found doing a light punch works well instead of a jump for zangief, it looks less conspicous and is faster.

For me:
Tekken Tag, King's Rolling Thunder chain throw.
VF4, *anything* with Akira. I just can't get the hang of him to save my life.

Yeah I find Akira's moves to be just too hard to bother with. I'd much rather be pummelling someone with Shun-Di's drunken ass.
Zangief's moves always stupified me as well. I guess my short attention span just won't let me focus on something like that for long enough to master it.

Kings 10 hit combo the ends with the Frankensteiner has always alluded me.
