Possible serial killer in Daytona Beach. Another body found this month...

Killer seems to be targeting former prostitutes/drug addicts. There's also evidence supporting theories that the victims met the killer online.

All deaths have been identical. Victims were left nude with execution style gunshots to the back of the head.

Still haven't caught anything but previews for Dexter, but it looks intriguing. BTW - did they bring that show to cable now instead of just Showtime?

yea its coming to CBS, they are starting with Season 1 and cleaning it for basic tv

Not really cleaning. They recorded alternate dialog when then original filmed the show so they will replace the bad swears. Other then that the only editing will be for time reasons.

Thats what I thought when I read the thread title. Dexter must have moved. The Bay Harbor Butcher moves to Daytona Beach.

I'm actually somewhat sketched out about how the cop found the body. He just parks at some out of the way church's parking lot to do some paperwork? And low and behold he just happens to park it a few feet from a decomposing body?

That just sounds sketchy. I'm not saying he's the serial killer or nothing, but if I were the Daytona Beach PD I'd definitely get his DNA sample too, hahaha!!!

The question that intrigued detectives was where the killer spent the last two years. He might have been only a visitor to Daytona Beach. But working against that theory, Chitwood said, is that the locations where he dumped the bodies suggests he knows the area well. Or he could have gone off on a (or another) 2 year tour of duty in Iraq or Afghanistan or whatnot.

What boggles my mind, however, is how the hell could those 4 ever be prostitutes...who on earth would actually have 'relations' with them, let alone actually pay them for it???

I think the perp, assuming this is a serial killer, is probably a white male in his mid 30's. He probably has connections in the underworld which allows him to know the victims.

Also since it appears that, at least the last victim, was not working at time, therefore this wasn't just a serial killer picking up hookers and killing them. He knew what she was, or could guess, and singled her out.

Most likely he is also a sexual sadist who has mental problems with drug addicts or prostitutes. The reason I believe is because he leaves the victims naked, he is showing his dominance over them and also demeaning them at the same time. Also Gunther was probably his first murder ever, that would explain why he dumped the body in an odd way and shot her in the face. He was new at it and lost control of himself. In next killings he kept better control.

I don't think he was in the military or in prison. Most likely he either got bored of killing or he had something in his life change, something majorly change such as a family member dying, his getting divorced/married or a major move.

Of course there isn't alot details right now.

Although the internet story may be likely, I think he at least knew that he was looking for particular types of people to kill and not near merely meeting random people.
