This thread is obviously far more detailed than the other one. Not everyone knows about each individual game that has seen a price drop at EB and Gamestop already and as Yeahman already pointed out you can now save $5 more by buying it at Best Buy. I hope my Best Buy gets a copy of Hit & Run.

Hmmm, I didnt get any luck at my store.. Of course I was there for a brief time and this is my story..

I went looking for Cube-Simpsons.. Nothing, same for Sega GT Online. But I didt see Champion of Norrath..

Then I went to the sales clerk and she informed me that Sega GT Online was DELETED from the system.. And she was kinda ditsy and couldnt find Simpsons Hit and Run in the computer..

Note, its also deleted on the online store, and those 3 games were the only games I could remember when I went to BB.

That's strange that the prices would be different at any stores. They're downloaded automatically so even though employees have to actually mark the games, they should still ring up regardless.

As far as finding these games, out of the 59 that I listed, my store only had 20, and most of those were one or two. So yeah I admit finding them can be difficult but hey, at least this way you know what to look for.


I apologize that anyone had to wade through posts of arguing. It's just annoying when you spend the time typing out sixty games, then wait and refresh the page to answer any questions for a bit, and the best response someone can come up with is to complain that one of the sixty has been that price elsewhere already.

My wording of this as the "offical" list was simply to let people know that this was the full list of games. Thanks to Josef for posting what he saw and contributing to CAG. Anyone will admit though that a list of 60 titles is more informative than 10, and I didn't want this one locked simply because it was second. Sometimes it's not who's first or second but who has the best info.

I just got back after picking up Onimusha Tactics (a decent game, worth 10 bucks) and Sega GT Online. I used the Xbox live 5 buck off thing so I got SGTO for 5 bucks.

My biggest find was the stack of Madden 2005 coupon books. Its a booklet of about 20-30 or so coupons for Xbox/PS2 games. I'll probably post about it later. The thing includes 5 bucks off games like Silent Hill 4, SRS, Mortal Kombat Deception, and a bunch more. The best coupon was probably for 20% off any dvd in the store. All the coupons expire on 12/31/04.

Found nothing near me as well. I also had my local BB look up Simpsons H & R, and they said the same exact thing. I still find it hard to believe that it's 9.99 w/o seeing a receipt.

I just bought Simpson's Hit and Run and XIII at Best Buy for 9.99. I actually paid $7.99 a piece for them since I have a card from the local high school that gives $2 off any regular price cd, dvd, or video game. I took the last Simpson's at my store but it's definately $9.99. Awesome deal.

I picked up XIII a few months back at CC for $10, I definitely think it's worth it. very cool looking game, fun to play as well. story seems a bit convoluted, but I'm not that far into it either. give it a shot, I don't think you'll be disappointed if you enjoy FPS and/or cell-rendered games.

No Onimusha Tactics left, but surprisingly they had 2 copies of Mega Man Zero 2 for $4.99 each. I almost bought one but then I realized I'd want the first one too and just decided against it.

Gameboy415, I'd suggest getting MMZ2 over the first. The first game isn't all too fun because of its difficulty. I found MMZ2 to be ALOT better then the first. I myself played Zero 2 before the first game and had no problems understanding the story.

If you like tactical rpg's I think it's definately worth $10. It's not as complicated or involving as say Final Fantasy Tactics Advance but it's not a bad game at all, I have enjoyed it.

Like I said in my first post in this topic, I enjoyed it more than FFTA. It is much more of an old-school type strategy-RPG than FFTA or other modern S-RPGs. It is a lot more refreshing and far better these days to have a simple game that is fun rather than a complicated game that frustrates you.

Got the last copy of XIII (GC) from the Utica location. Only other GC games they had in were Swingerz Golf and Madden '02.
There was a placeholder for Simpson's H&R at regular price. I had the sales associate check to see if they had any copies but her computer showed it as discontinued.
Looks like I'll have to be on the watch for a pricedrop on this game at CC next.

I just got back from the Morse Rd. (Columbus, OH) store, picked up Ridge Racer (GC) and Max Payne (GBA). There were still copies of both as well as Spy Hunter 2 (Xbox) ,Star Trek SU (Xbox), and Whiplash (Xbox). No Onimusha Tactics, Desert Storm (GC) or XIII (GC) at the Morse Rd. store. Didn't notice any other games there.

Simpsons H&R (GC) is sold out at all the Columbus stores. I'm going to check out the Tuttle Crossing BB for the other titles later.

There was definitely a few 2004 sports games I would've picked up, as well as, Star Fox or Simpsons, but both the Westland and Novi, MI BB's were out. Both of those stores generally suck when it comes to having anything in stock though.

They had a copy of the PS2 version at Hickory Hollow (Nashville, TN) last night, but after checking the reviews, I put it back on the shelf. I did pick up Sega GT Online, Onimusha Tactics, Crash Nitro Cart (GBA), and Enter the Matrix (PC).

After BB, I checked out EB (not much, although he did tell me they just trashed some guides, including Super Mario 4 and Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga :evil: ), and Target. At Target, I found the Deal of the Century (Splinter Cell + Prince of Persia) for PS2. I already have both games for Xbox, so if anyone is interested in the PS2 verions, let me know (yeah, I know it doesn't really belong in this thread, sorry).

Ummm, actually Hit & Run was one of Universal's Best Sellers last year, way over a million world wide. Don't know totals, but they praised the title in their quarterly results a few quarters ago
