$0.25 for $50 or more on a Buy it Now. There are a few other charges on top of that, but nothing they're too concerned about, I'm sure.

Yes, but the insertion fee tops out at something like $5 for anything over $500. So they are blowing their money on these but it's not costing them a ton per.
If they catch the problem and lower their price eBay will actually credit them partial insertion fees as they drop it down to a lower tier. At least they did for me a few months ago when I did that.
