Wifi Trouble......

I have a Lynksis Wireless G router model WRT54GS. I always connect online with the router on my DS. I locked my router and I put a WEP passphrase. When I enter the passphrase and the SSID on my DS though, it says that the information is not valid. How can I lock my router AND get online with my DS? ( I also need to be able to get online with my I-phone at the same time)

Instead of using the passphrase, have you tried using the actual keys that the wireless router generates for the passphrase?

no. Does it usually work with the key? Also, I was thinking that it might have to do with the fact that it only has 9 charcters (my current passphrase).
