My birthday is coming up, and i want to ask my parents for a cheap video camera.. i want decent quality, and probably flash memory. Any ideaS?

"Cheap" is a relative term ... my kind of cheap might not be cheap for you.
true, sorry. by cheap, im meaning under $200.

Well the camera i own and love is my Nikon Coolpix .
You should just go to amazon and search relative to your price range.
Look at the reviews and see whats best.
The best brands are Nikon and Olympus in my opinion.
So thats all i can tell you.

A video camera as in camcorder or photo camera?
For a photo camera, any Canon camera is probably a decent choice. I have a Fujifilm F20 which I've gotten good use out of. It is one of the better low-light cameras, but it is out of production I think.
