I picked up one earlier and used the $5 off rainbow six black arrow coupon combined with price match @ CC to get the game for $29.99 plus tax.....There so many of the books lying around you can't even walk through the aisles without tripping over one :boxing: But I only picked up one book....at least I saved using a GGC... :|

They had a free coupon book with a GC system purchase a long time ago. I picked a few up then without buying a system and no one seemed to care. They certainly weren't going to call the cops as someone suggested. The 20% DVD looks to be the best. Would be useful if you're buying any box sets or TV shows.

I got the coupon book today (they were out on the shelf) but the DVD coupon said it expires on 3/6/2004, all the other coupons expire at the end of the year. Is everyone's coupon book like this or did I get one with an error?

I also noticed that the DVD coupon says good through 3/6/2004. I'm guessing it is just an error and the coupon will work anyway.

I hope so, but knowing Best Buy with coupons, I am guessing I might have a problem (with the Nintendo coupon book, I had a coupon good for $5 off ANY Interact accessory, I take a $4.99 GBA case to the register and the cashier and manager both say the coupon is only for the link cable pictured on the coupon, even though the coupon had no restrictions. I wrote to Best Buy and their answer was what the manager said was final. So they may not want the DVD coupon because of the date.)

Since most of the games featured won't be released until the fall, it is highly unlikely that any of them will drop below $20 before 12/31. That IS a good deal for the dvd, and, unless you can get in on that retail special Microsoft has on starter kits, the live coupon is also are great deal.

I picked one up today. The book is labeled "Madden 2005 Coupon Book" or something like that. But it doesn't say on it anywhere (or on any signs in the store that I could see) that you only get the book with the purchase of Madden. Although it also doesn't say 'FREE' or 'Take One' anywhere on the book either.I didn't actually ask an employee, I just grabbed one.

I didn't notice the March expiration of the DVD coupon. Ugh, I imagine that might cause some headaches especially once the Madden '05 craze dies down and these books are all gone.

The DVD coupon date has to be an error. Madden just came out so the coupon is brand new. They should know that and accept. But this is Best Buy we are dealing with.

You can never combine coupons. This is the same for most stores. Rebates on the other hand.

I used the DVD coupon today. Sucker actually scans properly (i.e. the cashier didn't have to manually take off 30%) and the guy had no problem letting me use it.

The 20% off coupon shouldn't be a problem if you bring the whole book with you and point out that it's fucked up. No coupon book ON EARTH would have one coupon in it that expired 5 months before all the others START.

I used a 20% coupon for this exact DVD (Goodfellas). It came to$ 12.xx with the sale price and discount, so the coupon can stack with sale prices.

I was just in Best Buy (Durham, NC) last night and they wouldn't accept the coupon. They also said I couldn't apply coupons to items I was price matching (in this case the B5 Movie Collection with Circuit City).

I just called 1-888-BESTBUY and talked to someone who said he had not heard anything about a typographical error, and if the store would not accept the coupon I had no recourse.

I lodged a complaint for Best Buy being so stupid as to release a coupon book with an expired coupon in it.

I bought one (KOTOR) on Sunday using the $5 off XBL software coupon in the coupon magazine they have for free (the one with Madden on the cover). Came to $10. I think some Best Buys are out of those mags now though :( but many still have them.
