Any good way to avoid RZ expiration dates?

I looked around for an answer, but I didn't really find anything. I guess I set my threshold too low for RZ money, and now I'm wishing I could save it up for a while. Of course, the points are going to expire if I don't spend them soon. It looks like I can't use them to buy a gift card, either. Is there any way you guys know of to get around the expiration? I mean, i could always try to sell them to a friend for cash -- but is there any other way? Thanks..

Apply and get the Best Buy RZ Mastercard...the expiration dates are extended by a few more months

Do you think buying something with it, and then returning the item to them unopened would work? They'd probably put the credit on a best buy gift card then.

Buy something, then return it. The points will be credited back to your account and you'll get a few more months.

let them expire and call them and tell them you just got them in the mail when you are ready to use it and they will credit the points back to your account.
