I can't seem to find a price or rarity amount for a box set I found. It's Call of Duty 1 the limited edition box set (long enough name) It has all the fixings in it, it's never been used and the box is slightly scuffed up but everything inside is in perfect condition.

Mario games on the 'Cube tend to hold pretty good value (espescially Mario Party) simply because they're playable on the Wii.

Nocturne --- Not rare because there's a reprint, but if you still have the art book and whatever else comes with it, it could fetch some good money.
Disgaea 1 & 2 --- Disgaea 1 was reprinted massively, so its pretty common. I still see new copies of 2 everywhere.
Capcom VS SNK 2 --- Pretty hard to find. Worth about 40 bucks if its complete

They were very limited releases and Gamestop exclusives so most people didn't know about them. But they're not going for that much more than retail... the Pure Evil pack was like $30 and the 10th Anniversary Pack was $50 when they were released. And now, they're not going for that much more now.

FF7 GH goes for around $50 and BL goes for around $60. Most of the time they go around the same price though

So? I can list "Game X" for $Y on Amazon... doesn't mean anything. An item's value is only what someone is willing to pay for it... not what the seller wants to charge for it.

We can talk rarity, but putting a price on something is very hard. Ebay is the best way to check prices but since they only give you 20 days or whatever now (unless you pay, which is BS), even that's not a very good scope as prices seem to fluctuate so much.

earthbound is between $60 to $80 cart only. the guide itself should be between $30-$50. i would never sell them together though, but thats just me. but if you are planning on selling them together, it should be worth around $90-$130.

Yeah, I have the printer. It is pretty fun to play around with. I have some spare printing rolls somewhere. You used it to print images from the Gameboy camera, have one of those too.

I recommend never, ever even considering trading into GameStop on anything other than new games with trade-in deals. You get hosed on anything last gen.

I say put it up on eBay.

Yes Trap Gunner is uncommon but not worth s--t. There is another one by Atlus called Eggs of Steel, that fits in the same category.

Look for games like Dual Hearts and Skygunner to fit into the same category when the PS2 games become the PS1 games.

It seems that PS2 games generally go for more than Xbox games when it comes to rarer stuff... not sure why though. It could be because Obscure 2 is on the PS2 but not on the Xbox.

Dragon Warrior 1 is not worth anything really. 2-4 are much harder to come by. Top Gun with box is maybe worth $10- $15 to someone that wants it.

ZOE was $4.99 at GS. kojima's possible next project would be ZOE. he did confirm that he might make another one. ZOE 2 in the other had, had a reprint last year and had kept its value for awhile at around $20-$30 afterwards.

Thanks for the correction on Fade to Black. I have fixed that. King's Bounty was not in our database but I added it. It looks like it is fairly expensive, but I can't say for sure until I see more data. I see listings for $30-40.

With games from systems that are still supported it is hard to say if they will increase or not. Nintendo could always re-print the game which would lower the price a lot. Atlus did that with Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga and the prices plummetted (http://blog.videogamepricecharts.com/2008/05/nocturne-and-digital-devil-saga-not-so.html).

IIRC I left it behind when I first saw it since I had little to no interest in it and figured what the hell and picked it up when it was 50% off for .50. I figured it was worth about $2-5 depending on if it's cart only or complete. I'm surprised at what people are trying to sell it for but I would gage it at being worth about $5-10 (cart only to complete) I see one completed listing that didn't sell for $5 shipped (cart only) and I see one guy got lucky and got a bite on a complete copy for $23 shipped (complete).

Yes it is. It's the sequel to Troy Aikman's original football game on the genesis. Fade To Black came out after his career was over. You have to keep him from being sacked to many times to avoid an all to frequent concussion, hence the name fade to black.

They also just announced Dog's Life 2. In it you have to find your way from Michael Vick's Backyard Dog Fighting compound in Atlanta to a loving country home in Kentucky.

That is a good collection and you already got some price quotes for them. Regarding the "sell during Christmas" recommendation. Any game that is aimed at kids like Mario games, Spyro games, etc have huge price spikes in November and December. You should hold off selling any game like that until then. All games have some spike, but kids games especially.

Tail of the Sun is a bit rare, but not that valuable. I saw a factory sealed one sell on eBay for less than $15 shipped last year. I've seen used complete copies go for $5 to $10 shipped. They can go for more though, depending on who's looking to buy at the time. Since it is hard to find, some people would be willing to pay a higher price rather than wait for an auction with a low starting bid on eBay.

It is definitely hard to come by. None on ebay, amazon, or half right now. Two sold on ebay in the past two weeks, one for $38 the other for $16. I have added it to our database so we should get a more accurate price for it after a while.

i dunno where to start. the only really "rare" u.s. gamecube game that I know of is ikaruga (maybe debatable?). pikmin isnt considered as rare since both did went into players choice which means they sold a ton of copies for both. sought after is what we should be listing instead of rare.

heres my list of top 10 sought after gamecube games (this actually took awhile to list):

1. Resident Evil 4: Gamestop Limited Edition -shooting up in price for sealed copies.. RE5 anyone? maybe thats what it is.. but it IS the superior version until Wii version came out, which brought the price down for the LE copy, i suggest anyone who has a copy (sealed or used) of it to hold on until a release date for RE5 is announced. i mean from $60+ (sealed) from several months ago to $130+ now, thats a huge spike. used copies is getting expensive as well.
2. dance dance revolution: mario mixi dont think anyone really took ddr mario seriously when it came out, thats why it went out of print (then in print again for a short while) and thats when the price shooted up. then after this past holiday the price went down. probably the perfect time to buy it complete with the box + mat for less than $60.
3. ikarugai dont think this needs explanation.. but it does cost $10-$20 less than what it used to be, but still rare/sought after
4. pikmin 1 & 2yeah, pikmin 1 & 2 :) yawn, its going down too...
5. beyond good and evilat the moment, if people are paying $45 for a used copy, then it should be considered as sought after
6. fire emblem$40 for a used copy, i think thats more than it used to be 1 1/2 ago when i first got my copy.
7. phantasy star I & II (regular & plus editions)i think these games are one of the first on the 'cube to actually climb up in price.. specially the regular editions since it was the first to offer to play pirated games when a modchip wasnt around for the GC.
8. metal gear solid: twin snakessold alot of copies (it went into player choice) but with recent interest with pretty much everything MGS, the price went up for used and sealed copies. maybe it'll go down again in a few months.
9. mario tennisthis actually went up a year after the wii came out. it was expensive already at GS at $44 used. its still sought after at $30-$35 for a used copy.
10. eternal darknessnot nearly as much as it should be, but it is getting to be tough to find a copy cheap (i think GS had it $17.99 used). $25-$30 on ebay atm. upto $70 for a sealed copy.

The rarest Gamecube game without a doubt is the US version of Pokemon Box. Not sure how many copies of it are out there, but I sold it when it was at one of its higher peaks for $210. Only paid $27 for it or something brand new, preordered way back when.

Electroplankton's US version has gotten rare too, its ebay price I think is over $50 now for a used copy... and I have a barely played copy sitting on my shelf.

i saw a sealed one sold for $90. i feel bad i didnt buy a copy.. i did try the japanese version and i wasn't really that interested. plus the silly things that nintendo did to promote it (like that so-called world class DJ playing along with it, BS).

Electroplankton is for DS. It's not really even a game, per se. It's pretty much a music machine for the DS using little ameoba like things.

The original Pokemon Green isn't rare at all. Play-Asia had brand new copies of it up for $15 a year or two ago (where I got one), and I have a practically un-used copy sitting in my room. It might be rare in some areas, but it's not impossible to find by any means, and isn't worth that much either.

Bust-A-Move 3000 - I have only seen 2 of these in the 6 years I have been selling Gamecube games. Relatively expensive too.

Digital Press has it as a scarcity of 3 worth $15. I have seen quite a few things though where the dollar value is off.

Probably some have sold on ebay, but you'd have to look in the adult section stuff since it is AO. That's my guess at least.

I Know the Zelda CE is going for around $35- $40 at EB/GS in my area. Trade in Value at those places is around $22-$25 i think. So i would guess between $20-$30 on here depending on how bad someone wants it.

I remember when Perfect Dark got pennied out at TRU. It seemed as if some CAGs still didn't try buying them if their store still had a bunch and figured they were better just being throw out almost like a Madden guide that was gonna get junked :D Made me sad as my store was probably the only store in the country that didn't have it when it was dirt cheap and I would have loved to have gotten a sealed copy for a buck since I liked Perfect Dark, at least single player since the multiplayer was ruined when too many characters were on the screen.

You're probably thinking of the Limited Edition version. It's pretty rare and can sell for quite a bit on eBay.

I have been a huge fan of the RE series, I have some of the games for Dreamcast and Gamecube but never got around to expanding it. I also have some of the promos. I wish I could have gotten the guides when I had the chance, the only one I have is for code veronica(for DC and is a good game) but it was in a DC magazine. If it's still sealed, you could probably get at around $70 on eBay. Used, maybe half that. But it will only go up from there; any future reprints of Persona 3 will be the FES version with no extras.

yeah they're still more of an import toy. they do have other kubrick figures every now and then that makes it way to FYE and stores alike. they are a bit much for a minifig so i always try to avoid them (i remember there was a street fighter kubrick at FYE but was being sold for $6 each). i did see these mgs minifigs at conventions before but just never paid attention before.

Good find! If the games you have are complete I would set the BIN price higher than the $70. The price on VGPC is the average price so there is a good chance it can sell higher than that especially if you have the Box and Instructions. You don't want to set the BIN price at the average selling price you want it to be a bit higher. If the package is complete I would do quite a bit higher too.

How about the limited edition US version of Shenmue that includes the Shenmue Jukebox disc? I got it off of Half for $7, and I tried looking around, but I haven't seen anything completed.
