Podcast Reccs

[Gamer SDP]

I've only listened to one type of podcast that being the CAGCast. I know I'm a bit behind on the times and the whole thing never appealed to me before.

Anyway after 3 episodes of the CAGCast (104-106), I'm convinced these radio-esque things are pretty good. Cheapy and Wombat often refer to other podcasts such as CAG Foreplay done by CAG member Shipwreck. I've yet to listen to any other podcast besides CAGCast but plan to.

What are some other podcasts I should check out? Gaming related for now unless there are some other good ones.

I am quite a fan of the IGN podcast series ( all of them are pretty good), and 1up yours ( very industry based, compliments the CAGcast nicely, but some of the hosts can be polarizing).

Destructoid's Podcasts are great, especially retroforce GO!.

Joystiq does a good job with theirs as well.

1up Yours is a MUST.

GFW radio is hands down the funniest game podcast ever....

I listen to both, the CAG Cast & CAG Foreplay.
Other than those, the only other video game podcasts I really listen to are console specific podcasts.

If you like sports, you can get Pardon the Interruption and Around the Horn in podcast form daily. Also, one podcast that I have a very limited experience listening to, but still seems like it will be good, is Movies You Should See.

I enjoy the Evil Avatar podcast, I only listen to the CAGCast, Evil Avatar, and GameSpot's The HotSpot. Can't really recommend the HotSpot since it's going down hill quite fast, you know with most of the editors being gone.

I only saw one person mention the joystiq podcast. I think it is second only to the 1up yours podcast. This is only my opinion and really depends on your personal tastes.
