View Full Version : Anybody purchase Rock Band SE from Amazon?

I just received my Rock Band Special Edition for the Xbox 360 from Amazon over the weekend. I noticed the tape job was a little shoddy, but after checking out a few boxes at Best Buy etc., this didn't bother me much.

Anyways, I noticed that by the UPC bar on the box, there was a small, wide (~2 inch sticker?) of what looked like a barcode and some numbers. The sticker was placed really close to the UPC on the box, and this sticker is orange in color.

Does anybody else who ordered from Amazon have this orange sticker on their box? And do you know what it may be for?

I don't know if it's from Amazon, or from EA or UPS or what. I'm wondering if it implies a refurbished unit or...? o_0 I've ordered quite a few things from Amazon, but nothing of this size [if size would factor into anything]...

Thoughts? I'm even interested in hearing people who *have ordered from Amazon but *don't* have this sticker.

i dont have an orange sticker, but i do have a yellow sticker above the upc, slightly covering the word include (i think its included) and i am sure this was brand new, as i got it the first day

hmm... what is on your sticker? is it like mine in that it had #s on one half and a barcode on the other?

the sticker has numbers in small print with a barcode kind of thing above it

Doesn't that sticker mean like returned by someone else or something?

It could just be a recieving barcode- on a few of the big-box items where I work, they put the recieving code right into the product box. (Makes it kind of a pain becuase customers always point that barcode at me instead of the one my register actually reads.) I work in arts and crafts, so I don't know what a reciving code this'd look like, but it's a possibility.
