View Full Version : Fixed 360 with towel trick- Keep it or send it in?

I have been waiting several days for my coffin for my red ringed 360. I watched Cheapy's video of the towel trick, and it worked perfectly. Should I just keep my system?
MS said they expect my system in 20 days. If I do not send it in, might I be denied future service if the problem persists?

definitely send it in.. even if it lasts a while longer, it will inevitably fail again and you really don't want to put it off until it's out of warranty.

Keep it......... just play it til it red rings again.... the coffin is good for 30 days......
Also, if you send it in and it is not red ringing, then I don' tthink they'll fix anything

All right. One more question: How is the system delivered when it is returned? Do you have to be at home to receive it? I wouldn't want them leaving the box at my doorstep. Too many damn kids in the neighborhood who would steal it.
