There's no way this is going to be a trend. Nintendo and Microsoft exhausted their supply over christmas (just ask anybody working retail) and PS3 picked up some slack. PS3 software still not selling- Burnout Paradise missed the top 10 on PS3.

I was pretty surprised to see 360 and Wii Guitar Hero still rocking. And stupids still buying Call of Duty 4. But you all know how much I hate that game.

There is. It's really weird how you get to it though. I believe you have to load your current game, and then go to the menu and new game is an option somewhere on there. It's pretty confusing actually.

I've been playing Brawl a bit, it's still fun, not as technical as Melee, but I think this can be a good thing. Hopefully it leaves room for more diversity in competitive gameplay development.

Being into 'fighting' games too much has tainted me, all I think about are cheap ass mixups/tactics for any fighting game... ;/

I will probably miss the technical aspects from Melee, but who knows what will emerge from the community in 6 months? I don't believe wavedashing was common right away either with Melee. Kinda disappointing that characters are already showing up as very limited use (DeDeDe) or overpowered (Metaknight, except for smashing, I've heard)

I don't have uber high expectations for Brawl, to be 100x better than Melee, but I do think it will be a fun, more of the same type game that I will play a ton of. New characters, music, levels, and wi-fi play are good enough for me. Stage Creator is a really nice bonus too.

The DS Lite doesn't seem to be getting that much love. 1 hour to go!Before you pack up, I recommend going online on MotorStorm to download the latest update (It may take a while, since MotorStorm was developed before the new patch system has been in place on the PS3 which is much better (basically identical to the 360 where it tells you there's an update, kicks you off to download then restarts)), then download the Time Attack mode from the PS Store. Having the Time Attack mode allows you to get use to the controls and courses. If you download the Time Attack BEFORE downloading the MotorStorm update, the game will not boot (I learned that lesson when it came). I doubt the Time Attack will change your mind, but just an FYI. ;)

Anyway, played some Burnout Paradise with CAG members online. Definitely a lot of fun.

If I have to live by myself the rest of my life with my strange hobbies, oh well. This is all true. Chrono Trigger still sits easily in my top 5 games of all time. But the same game with far better graphics and other technical advancements would be even better.

Especially with the recent video footage, SF4 reminds me a lot of SFEX, which I did enjoy, but don't want more of. Something about the characters feeling too heavy and not agile enough.

I don't like King of Fighters, but KoFXII looks much better than SF4 is looking so far.

Especially with the recent video footage, SF4 reminds me a lot of SFEX, which I did enjoy, but don't want more of. Something about the characters feeling too heavy and not agile enough.

And Inu is hilarious with the Nintendo hate. That's all I can say cause his opinion is so far off base.

Sony has always been the real casual offender, in my book. The MTV jackoffs introduced in the PS1 generation and the gangster wannabes in the PS2 generation take the cake from the soccer moms nintendo's pulled in. You DO remember a time last gen when it was cool to make shitty crime simulators on PS2 and they'd sell ungodly amounts, right? A few minigames are far less offensive than that awful trend.

Any company that gets a buncha people flocking over copies of Madden 98 for the PS1 in 2005 is bad.

That clock puzzle had me mega confused until I read the directions again and read that the 3 or more numbers had to be in a row.

Beat Timeshift.
I'd probably go 6.5-7/10. Really average gameplay, but the ability to time-stop, take a weapon out of the enemies hands and beat him to death with it is AMAZING.
It's probably the worst story ever crafted on the face of the earth as well. If somebody can actually explain what happened WITHOUT looking on the internet, I'd be amazed.
Still, it was a pretty satisfying game.

Technically, no I didn't. But theres nothing like that on the 360 version. Its a little dark, and and the character models are ok, the environments are stunning, if a little too similar.
