Questions about Live Gold accounts..

I have a Gold account, but my wife games too, and she has her own non-live account on my system so she can have her own save games, since some games only let you have 1 save file.(wouldn't want her overwriting my saves!)

Does she seriously have to pay for a Gold account to play online? It's hard to believe that MS doesn't let us make sub-accounts that can play under a main account. What is the best solution for this? Or is she stuck having to play as me to play online?

she will need her own gold to play online, unless she uses your tag to.
If ms had sub acccounts they would lose money. not going to happen.

My wife and I went through this a year ago or so. Yeah, it sucks having to pay for two full accounts.

So, does this mean that if my system dies and gets replaced, I need my account online to play downloaded games, and she can't play them anymore with her saves? If so, let's hope that this falcon chip truly does make a difference..
