Here's the video game software listings from the DFW, LA, and SJ Fry's Ad(s). These prices are valid only for the dates listed in the subject line.

Is that 9.99 multitap 1st or 3rd party?

It's a third party. I couldn't find a manufacturer name for it. It literally is a Multi-Tap, Vertical Stand, System Selector, and a DVD Remote control all built into one unit.
I think they are made by a company called Nuby.

Does anyone else find it extremely annoying that places will sell the PS2 and Xbox version on sale but never the cube version?
Madden 2005 for 37.99 but only for PS2 and Xbox.
I know the other version are better cause of online but all I have is the cube so online is out of the question. Pisses me off

No, because most people own a PS2 or Xbox.
I don't think you realize just how few people actually own a Gamecube as their only system.

no, because they've had games on sale for each system and only put one system on sale, they also had a combo pack with a controller for free or really cheap after MIR, gamecube only and they had xbox ones and maybe ps2 ones too.
fry's just puts a game on sale and picks a system. most likely ps2 or xbox and sometimes gamecube.

Yeah but still there's no reason to not have the Cube version on sale as well. If not that many people are gonna buy the Cube version then it's not like they are gonna lose money on having the Cube version for sale. At least give people the damn option.

Recoil controller sounds dangerous. Sounds like a pistol or something.

Yeah, what is the recoil controller? Been needing some extra NGC controllers.

recoil is probably just some third party controller.
It's probably one of those controllers that has a retractable cord.

I googled the recoil. Your basic third party controller with a coiled cord for "no more tangled cord problems". Its like those coiled telephone lines. Might okay if you're desperate for extra controllers.

If the multitap is the all-in-one utility item from Nuby, steer clear. It seems many people have had problems with that unit, although mine has worked perfectly. Just don't buy from Nuby, period.

Yeah it looks like a piece of crap if it's the one I'm thinking of. Not to mention for it to work your system needs to be vertical.
