Maybe I'm obsessive compulsive, but I can't stand it when my CDs/DVDs/Games are out of order (alphabetical) or not lined up right. I used to work at a Kicks 66 end of senior year and the following summer, and I would constantly be straightening items on the shelves and even the pens on the counter. I've actually done this in other stores when i'm shopping too.
I also hate having doors partway open, especially the bi-folds on the laundry area or whatever you call that. I think that goes back to wanting things lined up and all that. I've taken down posters and re-aligned them several times in the past if they aren't just right, so this is probably some sort of deep seeded disorder.

I also space the hangars in my closet a certain amount, which is probably related.

People who don't like what you have to say, but can't find anything wrong with it, so they feel to resort to personal insults (a lot of them on this board - don't feel you have to make a bad joke about this by responding to this with personal insults).

Religious lunatics (including many who don't think of themselves that way- homophobes, godwetrusties, etc)

SCO, microsoft, DRM, corrupt corporate legislation (DMCA, INDUCE, etc).

Many of my pet peeves are along the lines of sblymnlcrymnl's with the obsessive compulsive thing. Besides that, I hate when people try to defend things but have to logical support and end up saying "shutup I just think this game is awesome, I cannot come up with one reason why but...." Oh and last but not least, when a person does not think about what he or she is saying, most notorious being "I could care less." It's obviously I couldn't care less. :x

When people stand in line at a store and wait until everything is wrung up before even STARTING to write their check. Why can't they at least fill in the name of the store, the date and their name THEN wait for the total. I don't know, I just hate that so much.

Car audio systems that are uncomfortably loud for people in the next lane even though the doors are closed and the windows are up. What kind of sociopathic idiocy compels people to do this? Wouldn't it be quicker and less expensive to drive a pen through their ear drums?

People that talk during movies.

People that take their bratty three year-old to a restaurant and then let them scream the whole time making me listen to it.

When you go to the gas station and can't fuel up because all the pumps are full, and people don't have the courtesy to pull their vehicle up while they're inside buying their cigs and scratch-offs.

Fanboys.

People that can't take a loss. My friend would always turn of my system and call me a cheater if I was beating him at Madden, and this usually happened before the first quarter was over.

Yes!! Amen to that!! If you know you're kids can't behave when you go out then stay the shaq-fu home!!

My addition to the list:
People that use the fast lane on the highway and drive at or below the posted speed limit.

Yes, because people who obey the law suck. ;)

People who believe that the only way for the world to work is they way they think it should

To be fair, there is no such thing as a "Fast lane". that's why there's somethign caled a speed "limit". I'll agree with going REAL SLOW in the left lane though. That pisses me off. Actually, it pisses me off when people go below the speed limit in less-than-inclimate-weather. Is it really that hard to go 35 down a straight stretch of road? On the flipside though, I hate it when I myself and speeding and some asshole passes me. Am I not going fast enough for you, douchebag? *As I do 40mph in a 25 zone*.

1) Chicks who try to say negative things about themselves for the sole purpose of trying to get you to tell them they're not fat or ugly. I tend to agree with them no matter what when they do this.

2) People who scrape their forks on ceramic plates. The noise is unbearable!

3) People who take babies to movies. The kid is going to fuggin' cry no matter what! Keep their asses at home!

My main pet peeve is people who think I should be responsible for THEIR stupidity.

Another pet peeve of mine is when people ask me to do things that they should know how to do or learn how to do by themselves.

People (mainly teenagers and people from the ghetto/projects/trailer park) who think talking during a movie is a good idea. STFU you fucking reject!

Wives/Girlfriends who dominate the only fucking bathroom in the morning.

People who think that because they asked nicely they are entitled to get what they want. NO BITCH! I'M NOT GOING TO MOVE ONE SEAT OVER JUST BECAUSE YOU WANT ME TO! I GOT HERE EARLY SO I COULD WATCH THIS FUCKING MOVIE FROM THIS EXACT FUCKING SEAT!

That is why I made sure my house had a bathroom with double sinks when I moved.

I have lots of peeves but I think my worst is people who cut the fingernails in public places...I hate having to listen to a clippers snap over and over again knowing their nail is getting tossed into the area.

People do this all the time on the train and I can't stand it.

Easily I have a peeve against rude people who are inconsiderate of others.

When I have two windows open to different threads at a message board, and I submit something to one thread too soon after the other so that I get a message saying I can't post so soon after the last. You think they could have made it to recognize that you're posting too different threads, but no.........

I hate it when:

1. My girlfriend gets pissed at me for doing something.
2. I point out to her that she did the EXACT SAME THING (whatever it may be) two or three days ago.
3. She responds with, "Well, that's different!"

I hate "That's different." It is NOT different, woman!! Ya hypocrite!!
