Exactly!!! its old yet nothing new has come from it and Now if you try to install it it never loads it just stops in the middle of it all while torrenting in the menu screen

It's practically released. The game has been out for a very long time. It's one of the most successful free FPS shooter types on the internet. If you're trying to download it, it may just be you. I played it a few years back and it was awesome. Try and find a straight download file instead of a torrent; that may work.
