I was playing this and was geting a message from some anti cheat program I had to install. I have only played the multi player and the screen had nothing on it for the ammo count raidar level bar or any of that. So was this stopping people that were cheating? Also anyone else that got this for the PC starting to change their mind and think they should have got it on the 360 or ps3?

I only played the single player, and I don't remember much of a HUD display

Hey you mightve gotten into a server running in hardcore mode, you wont see anything there. Also, punkbuster might not have updated properly, you might need to manually update it, otherwise you shouldnt be seeing anything

download the little updater from this website, and then just update cod4.
happened to me to in the beginning.
click on the cod4 link, then click on player setup or something, and look for the link pbssetup and download that. Then in the menu of the program just update cod4 and no problems ever again.

You joined a Hardcore Server. Try joining a different one and you will see your HUD and all that.

I was getting kicked from servers at first due to not having updated PunkBuster, so I did this and it fixed it. I wonder if I need to keep the PB folder that I used to update though?

yea keep everything, if not you'll just start getting kicked again.
