Just wanted to know when it's projected to come out ... did a quick google search and all I've gotten was garbage results. To tired / lazy to do it atm considering I'm going to bed. Hopeing for an answer for when I wake up :D

it was leaked not to long ago, but the official version is coming out in march.

Here's hoping it has the impact the SP's did on 2000 and XP.

It's actually going to be out before the end of the month. They already put the pre-downloads on windows update

I heard the new SP is going to be killer on the amount of RAM it takes up.

RC2 was just launched recently (I think today or yesterday)

it should go gold in a few weeks I'm guessing. I'd wait a week or so before doing it, JUST to make sure there arn't problems. (although, if your using Vista... how much worse can it get ;-) )

If it is that'll suck .. though with Vista I bought 4gigs of RAM to replace my 2

I've had vista($15 via college discount) for a while now but been waiting for the sp before upgrading. Hopefully it fixes most of the issues.

Does a new service pack mean that the comments on Vista are going to get even dumber?

Haha hopefully not .. you can get vista running pretty damn good after a few tweaks.
