...I read a strong article that it will be packaged in with the 54.99 Collectors Edition version of Halo 2 as an add in. From what I took from it chances are it could happen.

$50 is crazy, but that would be cool to get it with the game, even though I dont have Xbox live, thinking bout getting it though

It would kick ass if it was packaged in with the game. But it doesn't make any sense to sell a headset for $50, unless it had some special feature or was bundled in with something.
