I am curious about this also.

I know Starbucks offers it if you work 20+ hours. Someone in the other thread posted Borders, but didn't post how many hours you had to work.

Im curious to this as I am self employed and my wife is going to look for a job so we can stop being raped purchasing insurance on our own.

Anyone able to post jobs you know that give you health insurance for part timers? Thanks for the time and effort.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure Walmart does. You may want to look into it.

Fed Ex gives part-time workers benefits. Well at least they do in Memphis, but I think that is a company-wide policy. I also think that UPS does the same.

In California I believe all jobs are required to offer benefits if you work 20+ hours. That's why my student work at UC let me work a maximum of 19.5/wk

The only two companies I know of offhand that offer full health benefits for part time labor are REI and Starbucks. And *I think* that means included on top of your regular salary, not you can buy into our health plan from your paycheck thats still more expensive than the open market. But I'm not sure. I've just filed those two away in case I'm ever in need.
