I heard with this bundle that you can try to return parts of your bundle to redeem the price you paid as they come with separate receipts. Some Walmarts will take unopened media for credit. Some won't though, so buyer beware...

You have to pick an accessory, and 6 games. Seems to be every game they stock. Not a bad deal I guess. Price varies depending on what you choose.

Forced Wii Bundles for $670 and overprice shipping charge of $40 makes me wonder how Walmart can use the motto "Always Low Prices. Always".

Not a fan of these bundles in general.

Although this particular bundle does allow you to pick from a HUGE selection of games, so it's not as bad as some other bundles in that sense.

You could probably turn a profit on this actually. Wii on eBay w/ extra nunchuck and Wiimote = $400. 6 $50 games = about $250. Gross: $750ish. If you pick it up in the store and not get it shipped to you anyway.

Certainly not a bad bundle. You just have to put a lot upfront. It's worth it if you want a Wii.

I don't know...700$ is a ton of money to pay up front. I doubt I would've payed that had I not gotten my wii yet. Although I did get a PS3 recently...although at least with the wii at least there are 6 good games to choose from. For PS3, I know there are titles I am interested in (read: resistance, ratchet and clank, uncharted, folklore, warhawk), but not many that I would want to buy. Glad I bought both the consoles stand-alone.

I was never planning on getting a Wii, but then one of my employee's told me that he played ameture hockey with someone who works at Nintendo and could get me less than retail prices.

So.... I'm getting

Wii, 2 remotes, 2 nunchucks, Mario Galaxy, Zelda (new one), classic controler, WII play, component cables.

And all for much much much less than this cost.

Too bad I don't really care that much about the games, just a few- the wii sports basically for the wife. I'm pretty much all into the 360. Oh well, probably get some cheap gamecube games for shits.

I've heard the same thing. I think Wal-Mart itemizes all of the components of the bundle on the receipt so you can walk into the store and return whatever you don't want. Not a horrible way to go if you're hard up for a Wii.

I also know you CANNOT return parts of a TRU bundle since it rings up under one SKU.

This is how I got mine at Christmas after launch. I bought the bundle, each piece ships separate. Took everything I didn't want back to the wal mart store with the invoice. They credited my card, but not shipping.

But again, I did that at CHRISTMAS. Surely its less work to get to a store early on a given sunday and pick one up.

You can definitely return parts of a walmart bundle, but why bother? Just sign up for wiialerts. My 2nd wii is on the UPS truck heading towards my house right now thanks to that site.

You do not set record-breaking sales levels and move 1.8 million consoles worldwide every month with "low production runs". The simple truth is that the Wii is sold out everywhere for over a year because there's a metric-ass-shitload of non-"hardcore" players buying the system... which simply highlights how minuscule the "hardcore" gamer audience is.

This is a deal for all of those pple who are hard up for a wii. I've been in a couple stores when they had them in stock and pple flock like monkeys in heat over these things. It really blows my mind how these are still hard to find a year and half later.

There's free shipping if you have it shipped to a Wal-Mart store so I would go that route.

If I had the money I would get this bundle simply because the choice of games is actually quite good. The only 6 games that have come out so far that I would want are in the bundle so it would satisfy me just fine.
