Hey, stoosi has the Microsoft - Xbox Live 3-Month Value Pack w/Free Headset for $9.99.
Retail is $29.99 so it seems like a decent deal.
You get a 3-month live subscription, a wired 360 headset, joust (XBLA game), 100 microsoft points, and a "$10 game rebate", whatever that means...
im confused on why its open box.

9.99 + 6.00(lowest cost for shipping)
The $10 rebate likely expired a year ago or so, at least if it's the same one I'm thinking of. So I wouldn't expect it to work but you never know. The open box part kind of worries me too.

id be careful about this one. i remember seeing the same packs at like target and best buy a while ago...however on the side of the box it says the points and joust codes ( or maybe it was joust and the three month code) must be activated by a certain date, and as you might have guessed the codes were long past expiration.
that was my first post fyi

now that makes sense why it's open box. to confirm if they are expired or not.

these codes will never expire.
the $10 gamecoupon did expire.
$6 shipping and a limit of 1 is fuck stupid.
open box means they buy store returns from CC, BB, etc and sell them as "OPEN BOX"

Yeah i did a little checking and i'm pretty sure your right. The rebate probably won't work (it might) but i've heard that the codes should still work even if they are expired. No garantees though...

Sold Out!
Dead Deal!
Game Over!
I hope they wouldn't accept returns on these that have had their codes used and list them as "open box". Otherwise, that's a really nice deal, even better than gogamer's $15. The headset alone sells separately for $20, so you'd be better off getting this kit than buying it alone. Wish they put more Microsoft Points into these kits though, I'm just a few hundred points shy of Rez HD and I don't feel like buying a chunk of points separately and having a bunch left over...
But yeah, I recently used a 12-month Xbox Live code (for the original Xbox) that was supposed to expire last year, and it still worked. I don't think they enforce the expiration dates on any of these codes, or at least not for anything within the last 2 years. I've heard of some REALLY old Xbox Live kits for the original Xbox not working anymore though.
