Firefox just reached 500 Mil downloads and is donating that amount of rice grains to http://freerice.com (http://freerice.com/) You can do your part and donate 20 grains of rice for each word correctly defined. it's pretty cool. i was surprised at some of the words i knew. i just did 1000 grains in a few minutes and plan to keep giving more. The sponsors pay for the grains. I got vocab level 35, how about you? :D

With the way we constantly refuse help from other countries (ahem...Katrina), the leaders of malnourished countries might say "Stick your rice up your ass, Yank."

Yea, I looked up "yank" not expecting it to mean more than just a slightly derogatory term but found this little tidbit...
In 21st century Japan, the term Yankī is used to refer to a type of delinquent youth who often sports brightly bleached hair. Etymology of the word is disputed, although one of the theories suggest the word comes from the English word "yankee."

Besides that, people outside of the US don't realize that yankee is generally means someone who is from the northern half of the US.
