Mine works fine. Make sure you downloaded the music maker tool, select the songs, then when it's ready click import. Mine works flawlessly.

Mine works fine... Make sure your Xbox is configured properly for your network.

If you can connect to live OK then you should be able to connect to your PC.
Make sure you're running the program on the PC as instructed. Make sure your cables are connected properly. Make sure your both on the same network. etc etc etc.
Restart computer, restart Xbox... make sure you can ping the Xbox from the PC.
If it still doesn't work then I dunno. It worked for me out of the box.
You need a CROSSOVER ethernet cable, which it CLEARLY STATES in the instructions.

No you don't. It says:
"An Ethernet connection to the Xbox console via LAN or Xbox System Link Cable (crossover cable)."
And if I didn't clearly state this earlier, I said that I have this working through my router. Might want to check page 26 of your instructions again.
And if I didn't clearly state this earlier, I said that I have this working through my router.
Maybe I just don't believe you.

I got mine hooked up via LAN and regular ethernet cable, and it works just fine. I just wish they had more (free) karaoke packs because most of the ones included on there are lame.

Do you have a firewall on your computer? That was stopping my connection from working. Its all good not though.

yeah I have mine using a router and ever since Zonealarm updated I have to shut it down to get it to work. I would get on my pc, "File uploaded" then on my xbox I would get "File not completed".

If you're connecting from PC to router to Xbox, then you need a regular cat-5 patch cable. If you're connecting PC to Xbox then you need a cat-5 cross-over cable. And yes, a firewall will kill you.. however for whomever mentioned Zonealarm.. it does nothing beneficial and just irritates the hell out of you, delete it.
