THis version is over 250MB. Wait for it to show up on Windows Update and it will be about 100MB smaller.
I installed it on a PC at work and had no issues with it so far. It does turn on the firewall by default, which I had to turn off because I am on a domain and that just causes problems.. No other issues though... I like it overall.

If you're complaining about the size, you shouldn't be downloading it in the first place because you are on dialup.
Loser.

I've read a lot of reports that it's fuck up some comps. Until they release it officially for personal pc's I'm passing on it.

PC stands for Personal Computer, so you said "personal personal computer".
Anyways, ive had the SP2 beta for a while now and ii isn't much different, the firewalls are cool and there is also a pretty crappy pop up blocker but i use avant anyways.

Actually, there is. If you turn on Automatic Uppdates you'll download it a tiny chunk at a time in the background. Windows Updates has long used a system to let partial downloads accumulate until they're complete.
This will get you to the initial installer that will then determine what components you need out of all the ones available. If you already installed some of the patches that are part of SP2 it won't download that item again if the affected file is found to be up to date.
It may take a few days of letting it run in the background but you can start immediately once it becomes available to Automatic Updates rather than witing on a CD to arrive. If you make sure you're up to date on existing patches it will speed things once the process is ready to go.

A big change comes in if you have a recent AMD system with the NX feature in the CPU. With the DEP (Data Execution Prevention) turned on this prevents the #1 form of security hole from being exploited. Big systems have done this since the 70's and most of the worst worms in recent history would have been stopped by it.
The problem is that some legit applications behave in a way that greatly resembles this behavior. The OS provides way to declare when you're doing this legally but many developers didn't bother because the rules weren't enforced and they could get away with it. As a result there are many applications that will get automatically shut down by SP2 on AMD systems until they're added to the exception list or patched.
