When these were being clearanced out at Fry's and Buy and whatnot I had just bought a TV and had no need... now I'm TVless and all of the places I knew that had em are sold out. Is there anywhere left to get a good deal on one of these?

I have a lightly used one if you want it. I think it's the 1410 w/ the tuner.

Recently? All I saw on Amazon were a handful of them extremely overpriced ($50-60).

I had the 1400...not worth it at all. And i paid $5. Try to get a better/new model. I say that because the 1400 has horrible video quality, not worth it.

I have the 1410 and it is a great device for it's cost. Agetec Gamebridge is great for beginners - it is very easy to use usb tv tuner/recording device without the high cost. Make sure you don't have Windows vista, that operating system won't support it. You must have Windows xp or lower.

My videos look great on my computer when I set it on highest setting.
