thats great to know. hopefully its a holiday (nov-dec) release. the line-up for the year looks pretty nice with home, little big planet, gran turismo, gta 4, mgs4, street fighter 4, killzone 2, resistance 2, disgaea 3, etc. finally my ps3 collection can grow.

Umm, it already was made official in the press release pertaining to Cory Barlog's departure. And With Sony, Coming Soon = 1 year +, which is when I expect the game to come out.

First thing made me think of was Gears of War since I saw the thread link off the main page...We refer to "GoW" to God of War (since it came first) and we just call Gears of War "Gears".

Anyway, the news is quite awesome and I'm excited. Although, I'm betting it won't come until early 09 (SCEA did the same for God of War on PSP last year, in the GoW2 manual).

Anyway, this should be a good game. I liked the other two and can't wait to get my hands on the PSP version this Tuesday. Sometimes I do love me some mutton bashing violence.

I just want to point out that God of War is the PS3's Halo 3... Kratos needs to be marketed as the face of Playstation. God of War 2 pushed PS2 sales past the Wii and the 360 for the month of March 07. So what exactly do you think the next gen version of the game is going to do...
By the time the game comes out Home will be established, plus accomplishments will be in place. Hopefully by then 360 fans, will get the point that MS is full of shit and perhaps they should take their money elsewhere. At least they can get a system that works...[and a copy of God of War 3] that's fair.. isn't it..

They were using GoW for God of War before Gears of War even game out, so that isn't right.
