I was back up in Seattle two weeks ago, and it seemed like quite a few of the Seattle Tekken crew was going to go to the PNWM. heavd853, you better practice up a lot. There are a lot of tough players from Seattle. If things are still going the way they were when I left, out of the locals Eddie (EBM) will probably beast through that tournament.

I actually won a couple matches a little while back. One against ReRo, and one against HeavyD. Of course, I think it was more the result of lag and my skill with other fighters than my ability to play Tekken.

I really gotta sit down and learn to play, coz I'm still at that point where nothing feels fluid or natural, particularly when it comes to defense.

yeah, lag kills some skills you learn in regular play. you're not bad chac, you just need to be less predictable. Asuka is very pattern based and if you can fool people to think you're doing a pattern you can easily control them... at least from what I know...

and again, I hate lag. I'll be pissed if namco uses the same net code in Tekken 6, which I know they wont.

Good try Chac, make sure when you land some moves with asuka like f+4 (the kick that knocks them down far away), you get your free followup, in this case run up 3+4 (both kicks).

Well Chac, theres a few things you can do. You can do a normal roll to the back front or left/right, by pressing right or left or both punches and I think both kicks for the side rolls. If you do any of that right as you hit the ground you'll tech roll, which is just fancy talk for a quick roll. I dont remember how to do the kick while on the ground or tackle, I usually just press stuff and it happens haha.

It's weird... that last trailer I saw of SF IV (like a week ago or something) looked fantastic. Worlds better than the game did before. As in, I'm really excited about the game now. It's nice to have that feeling. So yeah, GGPO is just icing on the cake... just hope there's cross-platform play, because I dunno how many people will be picking up the PC version.

When SF IV comes out, I will no longer play only the shotos. Believe it!

yeah there's some ridiculous timing on a few combos, like one of Lili's has her doing the d+3/4 with a b + 3 (the weird looking spin kick) and then catching them as they're coming down again with a 12124. I pulled it off like twice in 10 minutes in practice. -_-

wow... I hate Lili-Laggers. They make the game no fun to be entirely honest. I hate winning against people like that and rather would fight people who care more about the fight than just winning.

I thought it was just me.Yeah, I thought it was just me. I only got one PSN message by that person. What I recommend doing is blocking those people. I use to get messages all the freaking time from someone who spoke a strange language asking to play Tekken 5: DR Online (have no idea who it was) so I blocked that person.
