Before I get on with the new pricing, I'd like to plug our Madden playbook, which has over $200 worth of coupons, most notable are:
$10 off a Gamecube Memory Card 251
$15 off Platinum Wavebird
If you buy a copy of Madden 2005 (any system), you'll get the playbook. If you don't get it automatically, ask for one. Then, get your ass a cheap wavebird!!

I thought the XSN titles were a universal price drop?
All XSN Sports games are $29.99. Not sure if this is a price drop yet. It may just be a sale. The info sheet we get basically says:
GAME TITLE -- NEW PRICE -- SALE PRICE -- USED PRICE
New price means the retail price, sale price means this is what it is now (could be sale or price drop, if it never changes to OFF SALE then it is a price drop), and used price is the new used price.

At least at Game Crazy you at least get somewhat of a discount when buying a used game. I mean come on, what kind of dip **** is gonna bite on buying a 20 dollar used game for 17.99 at EB??

I'm pretty damn sure we can. It doesn't say anything about employees on the coupons.

Hell no! They cost $29.99.

When i buy the metroid prime bundle gc tomorrow at gamecrazy, do I have to ask for the 12 free rentals coupon book? Or does it come with it?

It'll come with it. They advertise it everywhere and they gave it to me both times without asking when I bought my Halo and Metroid Bundles.

They need to give it to you. If they don't, ask for it because you are supposed to get it.

Any word on the next MVP event? I'm feeling kinda ripped off, they cancelled the last event and there seems to be no word on the next one.

Weak, just a tourney? No discounts or anything? Although I probably can own at that Mario Kart tourney.

Well, if your MVP card hasn't expired you obviously still get the 10% off used games/accessories and 10% extra trade credit. Other than that.... I dunno.

Yeah, I was just hoping for a special MVP only event, any idea about prizes being offered for the mario kart tourney?
I wish I had a GameCrazy near me. So far I haven't even seen one within 30 minutes of my house.

All I've seen was the box that came in today including a Nintendo Who Are You? hoodie, t-shirt, an assload of stickers and a few Game Crazy Ultimate Saturday Series shirts.

hey guys, i just got back from gamecrazy today and they didn't even have their Metroid Prime GCs in yet. Or they're not selling them until the 15th. The funny thing is that I called yesterday and some guy told me that they are in the store now.
I sold a couple ps2 games instead and I think I got ripped off. Here's what I got:
Clock Tower 3 $3.60
Medal of Honor Frontline (ps2) $5.25
Timesplitters 2 (ps2) $6.00
Total = $14.85

That amount of credit sounds about right. Although, if a place like EB or Gamestop will give you more credit than Game Crazy for a game, tell the Game Crazy that and they are supposed to call up the store, verify it and then match the price. Cool huh?

A little off topic, but I love my Gamecrazy. The people are friendly, the prices are cheap (especially newer used games- $40 instead of the $45 Gamestop/EB charges.) Plus, I got a Wavebird for $16.01 from there today, with the Madden Coupon Book. They took one book and set the coupons out for anyone to use. After it was used, its gone. So i took the Wavebird coupon. Awesome deal... Made my day..
Also, I walked in one day to find that they had gotten the a couple Halo Xboxes in... so, I really wanted one but just need two weeks to get the money... so they held it for two weeks for me! It was very nice...
Sorry... I just love Gamecrazy...

No one forced you to trade them in. There is no reason for you to feel ripped off because it was your decision to trade them in at those prices.

Wow, I was just thinking about that as I was reading the flyer. It said, like best trade in values, guarenteed. I was kind of annoyed having X amount at gamestop and then X amount at gamecrazy since I'd usually go to which ever had the higher trade in value.
I got a question though, would Gamecrazy match promotions? Like Gamestop just recently had a trade in 3 get an extra 30% trade in credit.

I'm not sure about that, actually..
On a related note, I went in to the Corvallis, Oregon Game Crazy yesterday to pick up a price-matched Dreamcast for $9.99 (I had an EB circular with that sale price on it). I called before hand to ask if their rule is the same as ours here in Bend (that we price match). He said yes, as long as I had a printed ad with the price on it. When I got into Corvallis and went into the store, I showed the guy the ad. He said he couldn't price match it. He called his manager, and I talked to him. Jesus christ. He was a major fucking asshole. It sounded like he thought I was just trying to get away with a cheap console and an extra few bucks in my wallet (which I was, honestly) but for the love of god, why would I walk into a store that I work for, in another town anyways, and try to break the rules? Don't you think that would get me in trouble?
Anyways, the manager really treated me like a dick, and I'm probably going to complain about him tomorrow... call up his district manager and tell him what an asshole that guy is. I mean, jesus christ... the price matching thing is supposed to be in the operations manual (I think, don't hold me to it).
What a cock.
One more thing, please don't let my experience in Corvallis reflect on Game Crazy stores in general... we also stopped in to the one in Albany, Oregon and they were just as nice as we are here in Bend. In this case, the asshole store was just a fluke.
:)

Do all GameCrazies PM, because I know that the three that are around me (literally each are about within me in about a 5 mile radius) don't.

A big thanks to redgopher for posting deals. I was kind of sad when gizmo was leaving but gopher is a perfect replacement and a friendly guy like the people at GameCrazy.
