Metal Gear Solid Movie announced, Vin Diesel will assume role as Solid Snake

Today on konami.com it was announced that there will be a MGS movie slated for release in late 2005. Solid Snake will be played by Vin Diesel. Other castings include Justin Timberlake as Liquid Snake, Brian Bosworth as Otacon, Ben Affleck as Vulcan Raven, the guy from the Dell Computer commercials ("dude your getting a Dell") will be the Ninja, Chris Rock will play Revolver Ocelot and finally Mary-KAte and Ashley Olsen will dually play Sniper Wolf.

I like VIN Diesel in the role of Riddick, but Solid Snake?! First of all, I think Vin is a little too big to play Snake (unless he loses ALOT of muscle like Edward Norton did going from American History X to Fight Club). And, he ain't the best lookin' guy in the world to be playing Snake.

Yes, but just for a day or so. His friend was buying teH herbz and he got caught, then Dell released him from his contract/Dell gig. He talked about it on the Howard Stern show about a few weeks ago. He's doing some indie movies at the moment.
