When G4 quired TechTV, those with Time Warner Cable got the shaft as there was no contract between TWC and G4.

I tried to watch it when we first got the channel about 6 months ago, and I just can't stand it.

G4 is awful. The only show I can stand on the whole network is Xplay and that's only the parts where Morgan has her damn mouth shut. Yeah, she's hot, but so is nearly every other girl on TV and they aren't half as annoying as Morgan is.

I used to watch The Screensavers everyday. Once Leo left, I watched it less and less. Now that Patrick is leaving too, I doubt I'll watch it at all.

Haha, as if people would have missed seeing Tallarico's crappy ass reviews along with the rest of G4's garbage lineup.

Yeah, Norton is gone. Alll the new episodes your seeing now were previously recorded. Patrick said he was not bitter, and that it was his (and his fiance's) decision to stay in San Fransisco. Kevin Rose is moving to LA to conitnue hosting, but his co-host is as-of-yet unnamed. I'm betting on Wil Weaton...

Cablevision never had a contract with G4, but they did with TechTV, and when the merger happened, G4 was just aired on the same channel. The biggest thing missing from G4TechTV is TechLive. I think that was one of their better shows.

I liked it the old way, but I do kinda like Icons and Filter, but every other G4 show blows. I want my odl Techtv back
G4 uses to many flashy graphics and people named tommy tallarico

TechTV sucked for a while before the merger too though. Maybe the last 6 months to a year.
G4 was fairly consistant in its suck level. Though I loved the Starcade reruns, that show is hilarious on so many levels.
Wasn't there some bad blood between G4 and Wil Wheaton? That arena show sucked 10x more after he left.

i had never heard of g4 until they bought techtv...i was all excited cause it was like hey...it's a channel for gamers...no...it sucks ass...techtv was the main reason i was gonna get cable in my new apt, but after not having watched tv in over 2 weeks now, i honestly don't miss it...i'd rather read a book or watch a dvd than watch g4...techtv is dead in my opinion...bring it back and i'll get cable
