Can anyone recommend a few laptop bags? I'd like recommendations for both design/utility and price. Thanks!

I have a couple extra if your interested. Price would be pretty cheap, just depends on shipping cost. $25 shipped for the Implulse from Wenger just find it on amazon if interested. This would be lightly used. It really dpends on what you want. I have like 4 different bags and it depends on what I am doing which one I use.

The Timbuk2 (http://www.timbuk2.com) laptop messenger bags are great...sturdy, stylish, etc...and you can design your own for around $130-150.

My dream laptop bag is the Oakley SI (http://oakley.com/pd/1518) @ $175, but they're hard to find new.

Personally, I like the Crumpler (http://www.crumplerbags.com/index.php) Bag for both style and durability. If you want high end laptop bag for cheap, you should check out ebay. Sometimes they can end up really high with shipping and sometimes they don't. Always use the rule of thumb before purchasing something at ebay -read recent feedback, overall feedback, pictures or ask pictures (in case of counterfeits) and if object is questionable, ask seller some question and see how they respond to it.

Wow, The Crumpler website is giving me cancer. But their bags are cool looking. The Timbuk 2 bags (you need to fix that link, Bmachine) are awesome, but soooo expensive if you customize anything. I also wish they let you customize a little further, but ah well.

I'm thinking of going with a Case Logic 13 inch bag for my Dell XPS M1330 13-inch laptop.... Then perhaps upgrading to a cooler bag in a few months.

Please keep the recommendations coming if you have any more.

circuit city had a sale on latop bags this past weekend. i got one for a 17in laptop for 39.99 ( down from 70) you may want to check there. id say check amazon too but with that place alot fo times youre dealing with people not companies so shipping time may vary but no tax is good.

I use a Targus 17" laptop backpack which is epic. I can hold everything in it, even my back scratching midget. I never understood why laptop bags are so expensive. They use less material than backpacks but are twice as much. I guess the mentality is that you are going to put a $2k item inside so you will pay more.

If you know anyone who works at BB the discount they get on them makes the price seem laughable. For a gift my brother and I where going to split the price of a laptop bag, and after his discount the $70 bag came out to $7 and some cents. Yeah, can you say rip off?

i think thats the one that was on sale this weekend for 39.99 at circuit city. good to hear its a good buy. youre right about prices though id been looking for one after i got my laptop and theyre charging an arm and a leg for alot of these that dont seem like they can do anything but hold a laptop.

I wanted a Crumpler, but it was a tad out of my price range, so I ended up with one of the eBags.com 'house' brand bags, and I'm quite happy with it 3 years later. They usually have some good coupons rolling around on the web, too.
