Hello everyone :)
Im here to request a messenger bag that looks cool and not fat! I bought one and its cool and all, but it was little bit too wide, or big overall.
Also, if you can find a Halo (UNSC is the ones Im seeing) messenger bags or Linkin Park pags all within a reasonable price say below $30? Ill accept or will take a look at used ones as well.
And also, Id like to see a messenger bag with japanese writtings( I think it look cool), not with those anime pictures on it, but just writings or some wierd symbols and whatnot...
Please, if you can help me look for anyone of these, I WOULD really appreciate it.
You guys are the greatest, and I mean that.
Thanks and good luck! :)
ohh BTW, this is the messenger bag that I bought, the Black one

That paratrooper one is actually 1 inch larger than the Halo messenger bag in width. It's the same depth and height however. So, it's a legit messenger bag.

Well, most messenger bags are canvas and should all weigh the same unless it has additional pockets like the GOW one. I've seen some made of thin nylon as well, which weigh less but are more prone to ripping since it's such a thinner material. I highly suggest you go to Hot Topic (even though it sucks) and check out their bags as they have a larger variety than just the game ones.

Mine shows them from right to left so I'm going to assume you meant the one furthest to the right. Either way, they all look decent and I didn't realize Amazon had such a large variety of messenger bags.
Edit: Not actually from Amazon, it's an Amazon store front. Not that it matters.

Not trying to harp on you, but are you a real bicycle messenger? Those things can be uncomfortable if heavily loaded. Also only a couple people can actually pull that look off, the whole man-purse thing.
Try looking at Timbuk2, Chrome, and Seagull messenger bags. Those are "made for bicycle messengers" but I'm sure they can act as any other messenger bag. Those brands seem to be the in style for the hipster kids these days. Though I would think only Timbuk2 to be within or remotely close to your price range.
Also, my opinion, don't take it to heart, man-purses with video game/anime related logos/art screams nerd. I would know, I owned an anime convention bag.

What school do you go to? Because my books weigh a damn ton. I don't actually see a lot of messenger bags at my school but I'll assume they are the cool thing now just because Hot Topic carries them. I actually use a regular backpack (because I'm an old goat) but there certainly is no reason for you not to get a messenger bag if that's what you so desire.

I got one for school because the backpack i had was killing my back, was more comfortable having a bag on my shoulder. Mine isn't small though as i carry almost everything in it. It's more of a business/professional bag, but it was still called a messenger bag.

Tons of people have messenger bags. I prefer them.
I know this will be out of your price range, but I figured I'd offer some support just in case. I have a Manhattan Portage messenger bag. It's great. I bring everywhere I go. I've had it now for 10 years and it still looks new. The great thing about this company is that they offer a lifetime guarantee on their bags (except for zippers and clasps).

My other suggestion would be:

If I was in the market for a new bag, I'd get one of these. These are also quite durable. The interesting thing I found out is that if you give them a design, then will stitch it in. So if you have some chinese characters you like, they will professionally stitch those in for you.
Hope this offers some help
