Tough to say. This product has been out a while now & for some reason BB's has it on "pre-order" status, which doesn't help our situation if they deem this to be a price mistake...

Wha? $50 is the total. It's called a pre-order because BB going to start selling them for the first time (sometime in early Sept). If it was listed as "on-order" or "not in stock," then we know that at one point BB did stock the item. All I'm saying is that BB usually acts quick & ships an item asap (if in stock), but being that this is a pre-order they may catch on, & our purchases may be void...

I think maybe the 49.99 one does not come with the pedal. I bought a similar one for my GC recently for $17 bucks and there are no pedals. They are 'extras' and will cost more for it. What a bummer.

The link on the first page now points to the new Logitech NASCAR wheel for $49.99. The model number matches the previous one listed. Funny thing on my order status page it still lists I ordered the Force Pro wheel for $49.99 but the model number listed matches the NASCAR wheel.

I suggest that anyone who ordered this check their order status regularly to make sure the item description doesn't change on them. However it seems highly probable that you would recieve the NASCAR wheel and not the Force Pro.

It's a gamble. Worse case, I will be out $5 for shipping.

How much of a fight is this going to be to get shipping refunded if they send the NASCAR wheel? I don't want to be out the money on shipping if we get hosed on this deal. The 9/10 "release date" on this is coming up fast.

I sent them an e-mail yesterday to see what they were actually going to send me. This is the response I got:

We'd be happy to explain what racing wheel is shipping to you.

With the racing wheel, I do see that the Logitech NASCAR Racing Wheel will be the wheel that is shipping. However I see that the Logitech Nascar Racing Wheel and the Logitech driving force pro Wheels are the same."

I cancelled my order. I think it's the fourth time this year that I've ordered something from Best Buy and either cancelled the order myself or they were unable to fulfill my order. Strangely enough, I've also only ordered from them 4 times.

Never again.

I realize that it may be possible to return the wheel to the store and argue about it. It's just not worth it.

Yeah, it's the NASCAR wheel. I'm waiting to see what others do first and see what kind of compensation Best Buy is willing to give before I return it or see if others get lucky and were able to exchange it for the right wheel.
