Anyone else playing this?
I picked up Bleach: The Blade of Fate based on reviews despite my usual stance of avoiding any licensed games, especially licensed anime games.
But, I needed a game to play on my brand new DS and it's quite an amazing game.
The fighting is top notch, not as detailed as full console or arcade systems, but had enough depth to stay interesting. Add on to that the multiplayer options and it looks a lot better.

I snatched this in my circuit city at 20% off. This game was very much worth it. every penny.
I mean, theres a tutorial (in a fighting game!!!)
a nice enough story mode for EACH character.
Challenge mode.
versus mode and practice mode go without mention
Plus online.

Unlockables.
So much about the game is great. and the gameplay is addicting, I just want to combo it up with every character.

Is this the US version of the 1st 2d fighting game? If so I imported the game a while back. It's a very good fighter, probably my favorite on the DS system. Actually... aren't there like 2-3 fighters on DS only?

Just about. It's the best of that lot. It almost makes up for Jump Ultimate Stars not being out in the US.

My favorite handheld fighter. I picked the first game up when the Japanese version was the only one available (never picked up the second one) but I spent a lot of time on it and I loved the combo system.

couldn't get into this one, the card system felt way too hokey for me and it proved once again that Nintendo can't make a d pad on a handheld that works for fighters to save their lives (though to be fair, IMO, even with it being a bit too small, the only handheld that did fighters right was the NGPC).
