Just an observation, mind you. It's been ages since I've had a topic that didn't die immediately, I kill whatever topics I do post in, and I can't contribute anything in discussions about the consoles because I still haven't gotten anything newer than my N64.

This is more than likely due to the fact that I'm the most boring person alive, and it couldn't have helped that I've had almost no time online this summer because of some family issues. Still, it seems that I do this wherever I go online. Fark, Slashdot, GameFAQs...I'm living proof that you CAN be a failure at message board posting.

Heck, this topic will probably fail miserably too. I felt a need to get this epiphany down somewhere, but Cheapy locked the "Off-Topic" topic just before I got here and I don't want to make Deadzone mad by starting another one. If this does go down in flames like I'm expecting it to, it will just be more proof...

Maybe I should have Cheapy change my title to "The Useless CAG." :D

Looking at the post again, it does seem to be awfully pessimistic. This is probably due to the aforementioned "family problems" - my home is now a living hell, for all intents and purposes. I'm in a crappy mood today...and it looks like I'm sharing it with the rest of CAG. Joy. :roll:

Not that it matters, but the "Gothic" part of the username was born when the combinations that I usually use were all taken on Slashdot. I've just kept it around on some of the other sites that I go to...like CAG.

And yes, I can be this pessimistic and negative in real life. My friends have learned to put up with it when it happens, but I can't for the life of me figure out why...
