One that doesn't suck too much around or under 100 bucks.

Best Buy is having some great clearances on their HD's... I would go to your local BB and check out what they have. Some have said to have gotten a 750 GB External Seagate for $53.99...

Don't have the SKU's anymore, but it came from SlickDeals.net :bouncy:

You can always get an Internal HD with an External Enclosure, I usually do that.

I picked up a Maxtor 3200 500gb at Circuit City for $56 and some change after tax. Found the deal through SD.

Thanks I checked slick deals with my city and it was listed not to have them. :( I'm going today just to check though.

is the maxtor a price mistake or is it on sale this week or its a clearance?

Mine didn't have any good clearance except a hitachi external 500 gb for 96. I ended up just putting 20 towards it and getting a My Book Western Digital.

I've got a brand new 500gb Western Digital External HD that I bought for $100 + tax +ship @ Best Buy on black Friday. I bought 2 because I am a moron. The one I am using is great. If you want to buy the new one off me for cost, shoot me a PM (I was thinking $115 shipped).

edit: It is this one here http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.asp?driveid=351&language=en
