Would anyone be interested in a Lumines-only group? If the XBLA release is anything to go by, they'll probably be supporting the game in the future with add-ons for skins and modes. Of course, they could also just as easily abandon it, there's no way to know. It'd be cool to get one group together to just get the new Lumines and all of the future DLC for it.

Each psn account you create can be activated on up to 5 PS3s. You can purchase content on that account and it will be available to download on all 5 of the activated PS3s through the psn account.

As long as the account is on your PS3 you have access to the games and same goes for your friend. If either of you delete/deactivate your accounts then you will lose the games, but the other person will not.

Your console would already be activated so you wont be taking another slot. Deleting the user doesn't deactivate the console, it just breaks the link on your system

Yea, you need the user ID on the console to play games connected to the ID, deleting it would break the link from the license owner to the game. But as far as I understand it your not freeing up the share slot that way.

If your gamesharing group is meant for multiple transactions, one of your members should look into making a social group here on CAG.

To do this, go to the social group page, scroll down to the bottom, and click create group. Name it something like "CAG Gameshare Group __", and make it invite only. Then after you've done that, scroll to the bottom to invite your friends. This solve our communication problems between groups

ALSO - You can search this topic for games to see what other people have or want, and try and PM them and get something together.

Q: How does gamesharing work?

A: It's simple. Once you buy a game, that game is tied to your PSN ID. Basically all you do is give someone your account info, and they click "download again." Both players will have the game, but remember, don't delete the account from your PSN, or the downloaded game will be gone!


Q: All right, seems easy enough, but how does this group thing work, and whats the point?

A: Basically, take the original idea, and add a few people into the mix. Each person logs on to the account, adds their credit card info, and buys the game(s) the group has agreed on. This is helpful to us, because prior to contorary belief, Sony limits us to gamesharing with 5 PEOPLE, not 5 shares per game. The whole group thing meets that requirement. Not to mention, having a single account for 5 people where you add and remove your credit card information is a LOT safer than just giving your account information to some random guy.

You can gameshare all you want, but techncally you can only have 16 users per PS3 (unless they stealth updated lately) so for those that do setup accounts just to gameshare one game, they will eventually run out.

Exchange the username/passwords of that account.

That's basically how it works. Everyone buying one game is one way to do it, or everyone can just put in equal shares of money for however many games you're getting. You don't have to be signed into the gameshare account, but you do have to have the account activated on your ps3, so you can't remove it. Your CC info and address can be removed from the account. What I do is sign in, change the password, add my cc info, add the cash, remove my info, and change the password back. As for joining a group, you can look through the last several pages of the thread to see if anyone is looking to start a group or you can post up that you're looking to join a group with information as to what you're looking for.
