Hey I am looking to start up a long term DLC group for Rock Band Unplugged (PSP) when it gets released next week. They haven't released the price for DLC yet but I am assuming it will be the same or lower (hopefully) then the regular Rock Band DLC (which is $1.99).

Details of the share:



This long term group will keep up with the DLC releases for Rock Band Unplugged. Currently they have not stated when DLC will be released, but I did hear that it may not be weekly.
Each member will deposit $10. Each Thursday that DLC is released I will Download the new Songs. Once the funds in the PlayStation Wallet drop below $10 each member will deposit $10 again.
The DLC will be purchased on a Canadian PSN account. Prices on a Canadian Account are the same as on a US account, and there is a 13% tax rate.
For those of you living in the US, depending on the exchange rate, you may actually get the DLC cheaper. Currently the Exchange rate is 1 CAD = 0.8506 USD, therefore you only need to pay $8.51 USD to deposit $10 CAD. For those of you living in Canada your $10 will actually be worth $10.;)
In order to deposit funds into a Canadian PSN account you need a Canadian Credit Card. American Credit Cards and PSN cards will not work. If you do not have a Canadian Credit Card the money can be sent to me through Paypal, though Paypal fees would need to be added.
Can purchase other PSP games and DLC if all members agree. Extra money would need to be deposited.

Most TOS's/EULA's for the beta say that the beta discs can't be sold/given away, during the beta or after the beta has expired. Depends on the terms of the EULA/TOS for the beta, though if planning to sell/trade them on CAG, please provide a copy of the EULA/TOS that explains thet can be sold. Without that proof, betas can't be sold.

Details of the share:

The Price of the DLC is $1.99 per song. You can check out what DLC is available here. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_Band_Unplugged#Soundtrack)So far 10 songs are available to be purchased.
This long term group will keep up with the DLC releases for Rock Band Unplugged.

Each member will deposit $10. Each Thursday that DLC is released I will Download the new Songs. Once the funds in the PlayStation Wallet drop below $10 each member will deposit $10 again.

Perfect thanks for the info. So you just have to go through the extra steps activating and deactivating. A bit of a pain to do, but pretty simple and defintly worth it to split costs.

Just to start the download, you don't even have to be there for the download to finish. And you SHOULD be able to play online at the same time. The only real online game I have is Burnout Paradise, but everyone can play it simultaneously.

1. Do I have to create a new User for every gameshare or can I just change the login information? For example, let's say my GameShare user has Pain and Bowling shared with it. Now, if I want to share with a new person can I just change the login information and STILL have access to Pain and Bowling AND the new game that someone else is sharing with the new account information OR, do I have to create a new account?

Don't think so. I've tried that before on the log on screen with an existing account and it gave me an error when I changed the user info. Didn't even attempt to log on with the details I put in. Just said didn't match existing account...

You can test it out if you want. The Max is 16 btw, so you were in the ballpark :)

Nope, I asked him from what forum he came from and he said that he was from Afterdawn and gave me a few usernames whom he had traded with and even said "ask them so you can see im no scammer", but I thought, nah, it's cool, thats good enough.

Well, apparently NOT though. I ran a serious risk on that one. He took one game, so it's whatever, at least I managed to change my password before he managed to gain full control, take all my games, then trade them with other people. Phew...

He had two accounts, except he deleted both from my friendslist and I forgot what his legit accout name was. His fake one was Karnage356 though, but it was a bs account that was Level 1, hence why I asked him to prove to me that he wasn't some bs scammer by showing me his actual account with all the games.

Yes, for everygame share you have to create a new account, because you will need to sign into the persons account you are sharing with, or sign in with the group account you are in.


That is why it is good to either find one person you share more than one game with, or, find a long term group.

Stuff like Burnout or LBP has it's own Gamesharing group, since they get a steady stream of DLC. Only 1 account needed. Another PSN game though (say Flower) would be another account. It's hard to make groups based on PSN games, as they usually don't have a massive amount of priced DLC (most of the stuff is free).

This long term group will keep up with the DLC releases for Rock Band Unplugged.

Each member will deposit $10. Each Thursday that DLC is released I will Download the new Songs. Once the funds in the PlayStation Wallet drop below $10 each member will deposit $10 again.

Couldn't hurt, but I think if someone makes the list there should be some proof to back it up. Like take pictures of the PSN chats or something. Doesn't have to be included in the list for all to see but available if challenged.

My first attempt at gamesharing last year went south due to the other guy not knowing it was per account on the 5 system limit. He thought it was per game so it got nasty till I posted picture.

Now that I wouldn't call him a scammer at all. Just unaware of how things work so I wont say who it was. But things like that can go bad unintentionally.

I've seen scammer threads turn into a clusterfuck when both parties claim the other is lying and people not knowing who to believe. So I would recommend documenting the trade somehow and pray for the best. If it goes bad at least you have something to prove your side.

But what the hell, just my thoughts.

* Price is negotiable. I personally am trying to look for atleast $10 minimum though because I think $10 [5 songs a month per person] is not outrageous. I by no means want to buy every single song (Upwards of 40 songs/month) but atleast half I can see as being worthy on average.

-Concentrate mostly on new releases, and old releases that everyone in the group wants.
-Each member gets $5 worth of veto votes each month in case there is some DLC that they want that everyone else doesn't really want. (Optional and open for discussion)
-Hopefully eventually get all Rock Band DLC
-Can also do game shares of certain games if *all* members agree. Extra money would have to be deposited for game shares.
-Looking generally for new releases of songs

Note: This is from the Canadian Gameshare Thread. Therefore, the rock band gameshare group, assuming you are from outside of canada without access to a canadian credit card, would have to pay with paypal. However, since the canadian dollar is weak right now (and the prices are the same) you may find it slightly cheaper to go this way.

Then each month, we would purchase no more $25 total ($5 each). This is the maximum amount allowed. But I'd like to keep it under that each month.

Also in case any future games come out we all want, 5/5 votes, we can get that too, as I am and I know you guys too are running out of accounts on our PS3s

I just tried to play PixelJunk Monster with Encore and it turns into demo. In fact, a couple months ago, I still can play it as full version, have not been playing it for a while. The game was given to me by my friend, he logs in my PS3 with his account. But I did not delete anything related to the game or game itself. The only thing since I last played it is update the firmware, download some demos to play, got the free Rag Doll Kung Fu, download some free DLC, and changed my PSN account password.

Does anyone know what made it turn from full version to demo?

Also, if I were to ask my friend to download the game again, would it used up his download limit of the game? Or would it be okay?

Did you delete his account off the system? If so, thats your problem.
