You're allowed to share your account with 4 other people gamewise. So when we create a gameshare account 5 people contribute money to that account and buy games through it. Essentially getting PSN game for 1/5 the price.

However, you've spent a solid amount of time online since I've PM'd you(twice). You have been responding to PMs regarding your game trading, yet haven't taken the literally 2 minutes it would take to add people and create a MOD position.

It's fine to do your own thing. It's kind of frustrating though because we are trying to get a new gamesharing group going but can't get anything done because you won't add anybody. We are basically at your mercy to add us. So seeing you doddle around on here while we are waiting is a little frustrating, and then you turn around and post like this is honestly just a little rude. I've had a Ps3 for about 6 months and am pretty familiar with how everything works. I haven't bought anything because for some reason it wont accept my credit or debit card which sucks because I really wanted Tekken 5. If anyone has it and if willing to share it let me know because I really want to try out this gamesharing and experience to see how it all works.

Also, I planned on getting the COD4 maps somehow (either using someone else in family or friend credit card) and was wondering if you could gameshare that?

Yes u do have a CC, but it obviously does not work on the PSN, so it would not work for Gamesharing..

I probably came off as a douche bag in that last post, but its just frustrating when trying to help people seems like its turning into an obligation. Shoot, with that much of an investment I'd keep that account as personal and nothing more just in case your ps3 dies or you get another.
Then if you ever decide to gameshare just start a new account from square one with a group of people for the rest of your purchases.

Any other account on that ps3 can play the games downloaded on any other account.

There are exceptions tho with games such as Warhawk (any others?) which has additional DRM that excludes the game to only the account (and i think ps3) that downloaded it.

I'm trying to get a group of people together willing to buy the entire PS1 collection off the PSN store. Not people who just want to buy 1 game at a time.

How much will this set me back? Approximatley $24. This does not include the future purchases that will more than likely happen.

How many PS1 games are there? Currently 21 ($24 covers 20 games. Thats where a rotation type process would come in. See below)

So if $24 for 21 PS1 games sounds good to you, welcome aboard. Future purchases will end up being about $6 per 5 games. I'm thinking there would be some kind of a rotation process, so every week a different person in the group of 5 buys a game. So if you could get together $6 every 5 weeks (assuming a new ps1 game gets released every 5 weeks, which likely won't happen), Sign up now.

Well Robert Bowling from Infinity Ward announced yesterday that the maps passed through certification from Sony and we should expect a release date soon. Hopefully this week, if not most likely next week. Can't wait!:D

Also, some games like Warhawk and Gran Turismo 5 can't be shared, so games like that we won't be getting. Although those are the only two at the moment that are like that.

If I calculated correctly, it should be $240.68 for every game, minus the PS1, PSP and PSEye games. That means each person would contribute $48.14. This is doable. But, someone needs to check my work. Don't count the PS1, PSP, and PSEye games and if there is a bundle, like flOw, get the bundle that includes the add on, ect. Get every addon.

No. You and your group would create a joint account, distribute the log-in info among the members. The each person individually logs into the account and inserts their funds. After funds are in the wallet, delete your personal info and let the next guy log in and do the same. After the $$ are inserted 1 person logs in and buys the game(s), then the next guy logs in and d/l the games, and so on. You only need to start the d/l under the CAG account, after it is started you can log in to your personal account and the d/l will continue. Hope I cleared it up for you!

No, you make a new PSN ID to purchase and download the games from. Theres really no way any harm can be done with this.. You just put your CC on, buy the games, then take it off. Plus no one else can be signed on the name while you are on, so yeah. Not an issue.

Nope. Each account gets 5 activations for the FULL game, not just online only like 360.

Basically every game, plus add-ons, would cost $240.68 US. When we get a group of 5 together, that's about $48.14 per person, give or take a few dollars. We want to do it this way because then everyone in the group gets the exact same games and we don't need to argue about what to buy next. It also means we get the add-ons no matter what, so no one misses out on extra content just because some people in the group don't want it.

If you don't live in the states you won't be able to add funds to a US PSN Account with your credit card directly either (because you can't change the account's country), so be sure to let us know and what you'd have to do in that case is send your share of the funds to someone in the group via Paypal, and that person would add your share to the account him/herself. That's what I do with naes in the PS1 Group since I live in Canada.

That actually doesn't sound too bad...though I'm not sure If it would be the thing for me. I'm more of an X360 gamer, I really have no clue on what PSN games are out there and wether I'd want to play them or not. you can't gameshare warhawk. for other games though, you can log into any account and still play the game.

Okay, so with all the interest we've gotten in the All PSN Group this should work really well. So far we have:

So that leaves two spots. I know LinkinPrime showed interest so we'll see how that goes, and anyone else who likes the idea just check my post a few posts back for details. Basically $50.00 US (give or take a few dollars) nets you every shareable PSN Game with every add-on. For that reason don't expect to get Warhawk or Gran Turismo 5 because those aren't shareable unfortunately :(

And hey, lunasicc, I got mine in a share with someone from Gamefaqs but unfortunately I was his last share. Also I can't share games I received in a share. You're always welcome to join this group though since we'll be getting it along with tekken and everything else.

Basically $50.00 US (give or take a few dollars) nets you every shareable PSN Game with every add-on. For that reason don't expect to get Warhawk or Gran Turismo 5 because those aren't shareable unfortunately :(

I'm pretty sure the 40GB could hold everything, but even if it can't, I'm pretty sure you can download the games as many times as you want on your PS3. So you can delete and redownload when needed.

So what me and naes are gonna do now is re-calculate how much this is going to cost just to make sure of the price, then check to see what the paypal fee's going to be for those of you sending your share by Paypal. Also, don't worry about what games we already have. I have a crap load but the whole reason we're getting every PSN game is so that absolutely everyone has every game, and incase something happens (like you run out of space and need to get rid of some or something) you can always get all of them back.

Anyway I'll post back here with more info when we have it! But hopefully we can get this going by this weekend (It's cool if we can't though, no rush guys).

After that I'll check the paypal fee's and let you all know how much each person using paypal is going to have to add to cover the fee, so anyone who's using paypal to add their share (like me) just let me know and I'll send you a PM ^^

Anyway if you guys are up for it we can do this tomorrow afternoon.

EDIT: Okay guys, crunched the numbers and here's what we've got:

Every PSN game with every add-on (excluding Warhawk and Gran Turismo 5) will cost $331.25 US. This evens out to $66.25 US each. For those sending Paypal, they'd need to send $68.54 US to cover Paypal's fee.

So there's an extra $16-18 compared to our first estimate. If this isn't doable for some people or just plain pisses some people off, what we can do is add the original amount ($50.00 US each, which works out to $51.80 for those sending it by Paypal) and then when everyone's saved up a bit we can add the rest. But if we do $50.00 instead of $66.25, we won't be getting every single game yet.

So it's up to you guys. I can do either one and I'll be good to go as of tomorrow afternoon. Also if anyone thinks these numbers are wrong you can go ahead and check for yourself what every game with every add-on would cost, but I made sure. I also used bundles instead of seperate downloads when I was crunching the numbers since that's what we'd be getting. So, thoughts? Comments? Suggestions? Let me know and we'll go from there ;)

Also when we make a account and put in 10$ each and download the games. We will able to play the games without the user account and will it be on our main accounts ? also for the online games ( not warhawk ) will we be able to play it online if there was a online game that we wanted ?

I heard Gran Turismo 5 wasn't worth the money from what I heard. I also have warhawk. Its a ok game , but not worth 36$ I think thats what I saw on the PSN store.

The new PS3 SingStar is launching in May I think, and was wondering if there was any interest for starting a SingStar DLC group.

This is my first attempt at creating a Gameshare acct...I gave one away to a friend so I have 3 left...right...one + 4 to give is how it works?

How the hell do you just enter in the user name and not the full email address? Because when I just type in the username say CagPJM and enter a password say PJMCAG it gives me an error.
