It should automatically patch on your account. As when you launch the game it runs off the hard drive of your ps3, and when an update is available the hard drive install is patched automatically. Or at least that's the way I understood it. It patched automatically on my account for burnout paradise which was gameshared.

Doesn't matter, it's shared on an account basis, not game basis. So however many people have activated your account on their PS3, subtract that from 4, and that's how many shares you have left.

He needs to log back into your account from his PS3 then deactivate the PS3 through account management. Once he does this none of the games he downloaded off your account will work anymore.

I have no idea why the full game isn't downloading. If I download a demo the same way, it works. Can anyone tell me what's wrong?

If I remember correctly, you just have to login into the account you want to delete, then press triangle on the user name and select delete. The content you downloaded with that account will still remain in the system (unless you delete it before) but it won't be playable.

And, yeah, you can have content you downloaded from the 16 accounts at one time.

Deactivation (Freeing up a license in case you need to format drive, replace, etc) DO THIS BEFORE DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT

1) Log into the account that you would like to deactivate.

2) Go to "Playsation Network" and make sure you are signed in. From here, select "Account Management"

3) Select "System Activation", "PS3 System", "Game" and "Deactivate System". This will remove you from the group and return a free slot.

I had given up all 4 slots to my account to others. If somebody deletes a slot, that doesn't mean the slot is free again. Once an account has been downloaded by 5 different people, that's it, it can't be shared by anybody else even if somebody deletes one of them.

I see. Somebody has deleted the account but they didn't deactivate it. How exactly do you deactivate an account? I have deleted two accounts myself. Can you deactivate a deleted account? If not, what has to be done.

Deactivation (Freeing up a license in case you need to format drive, replace, etc) DO THIS BEFORE DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT

1) Log into the account that you would like to deactivate.

2) Go to "Playsation Network" and make sure you are signed in. From here, select "Account Management"

3) Select "System Activation", "PS3 System", "Game" and "Deactivate System". This will remove you from the group and return a free slot.

Everyone can be downloading the game at once but everyone has to sign in to start it one at a time. PSN only allows one person to be signed into an account at a time. Two people try at the same time the other will get kicked off.

Care to explain this:

Don't share with xFurionSnakex. He'll download your games and give nothing in return (like he did with me). He'll say that he can't log to your acc and next thing you know, your pass is changed. Check previous posts.

Ruykuuken has nicked 2 games from my account and given me none in return do not trade with him

Ruykuuken has nicked probably all my downloaded games at least once and bought add-on for The Last Guy (I was smart enough not to have more than 2$ on acc) with my money. I hope Sony would make some improvements for game sharing to be more secure.
