that still doesnt offset the point that some people are stupid and dont take the correct measures before doing a game share...would you agree?

You and I have gameshared but look at our rep...we are kinda proven in all of this.

I still dont think Sony wants us to game share things like Warhawk and Socom (thus the 1 person being able to play at a time)

Yes it does help generate interest in other games, psn titles like BF1943 and Fat Princess.

But I still dont see WHY people blame Sony for their stupidity. thats the point i think i was initially getting to.

First of all I'm not the one who is taking the money, I joined and paid $2. Secondly he put $2 in the original post. If he made a group then told everyone later that he wanted $2 instead of $1.60 there may be a point. As it is, by creating the group he needs to cover the risk of someone backing out as well, not to mention the extra work of organizing everything (not needing to do that is worth 40 cents to me, if it isn't to you then organize your own group).

As for your MvC example you have it backwards, if it's worth $10 to you then you should be paying $10 to someone else for a share.

I don't think people should be ignored just because they are new to the site. Not every one new that signs up posting just for gameshare groups is a scammer. Heck that was the primary reason I joined CAG and if people ignored me because I was new I wouldn't have gotten any of my gameshare groups up and going.

Being cautious with new CAGS is defiantly a must but ignoring them all together, in my opinion, is not the way to go.

Beatles Rock Band DLC Group

All you need is love...that, and four other people to start a Beatles Rock Band DLC Group.

We will purchase every Beatles album that comes out after the game's release beginning with Abbey Road in October. We will not be buying individual tracks, but the full albums only since it's much cheaper that way. According to MTV games, each album will cost $17 ($3.40 per person if we get a group of five).

Abbey Road is set for release on October 20th. Rubber Soul follows in November with Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band in December. Other albums are sure to follow in 2010.

With a group of five, buy-in is $3.40 a person via PayPal gift for a share of the first album. Each album after that will also cost $3.40 per person (assuming they keep the same $17 album price in place). We must fill all five spots in the group before making the initial purchase.

We will purchase every Beatles album that comes out after the game's release beginning with Abbey Road in October. Pretty sure you can do it no probs, just tell them you didn't know gamesharing is "illegal" and that you won't do it w/ strangers, etc... again. As long as you can verify your details it should be fine.

The problem I see with this is that the mods are allowing this with the simple rule that you take the risks. Putting more undue work on the mods will likely be a no go. If they wanted to do something like that then they would have already put in a system for it themselves.

I think in this case it will be up to the users to police it.
